A great experience.

A fantastic experience. Interesting and informative and engaging. We enjoyed smelling the fragrances and guessing what they were. The wine tasting and pairing is excellent. 6 wines to taste (3 red and 3 white) paired with different cheeses and different sausages. All delicious! Tomas did an excellent job.

Fantastic Way to See Amboise!

Nicolas is a natural to train on the Segway and show guests around the charming and amazing town of Amboise. I can't think of a better way to see such a beautiful place. In fact, I've found myself looking for other Segway tours as I travel (although I'm sure few could match Nicolas' ease and engagement). We had 3 on our little tour (all "senior" aged...) with 2 never having even seen a Segway. In a few minutes, we stopped thinking about the machine and really began enjoying the whole experience and feeling of freedom. We loved every minute of the excursion and absolutely recommend it!

Educational and fun!

Our tasting host was truly wonderful! The cave(s) are amazing. Walking through the passages and looking at the stored wines was impressive. The scent identification stations were very informative. The wines we tasted were identified (by our host) largely by sight and smell, just amazing… from the Loire region, of course! After the tasting, a walk through the village is a must!

This was a great experience. I cannot recommend Iva strongly enough. She is patient and kind and has a wonderful way with children. She is clearly very experienced with shooting in Amboise. Excellent! Gave us a greater understanding and appreciation for lovely Amboise.

It was a wonderful experience! Mark Playle, our guide, made our whole visit in Amboise so much more meaningful and interesting. He showed us things we would otherwise have missed or overlooked. By the time we were done, I was visualizing what it would be like to live in Amboise, not only in the past but also in the present. My husband, who is an artist who sometimes paints from photos from our travel, felt a strong bonding to Mark, who is a professional photographer and artist.

Wonderful Day Tour of Chateaux Chenonceau and Chambord

The tours of Chateaux Chenonceau and Chambord were incredible. Our guide was awesome! She was very knowledgeable and so sweet. The wine tasting of the Caves Ambacia was very informative, but there was mass confusion about our lunch break. We only had one option to eat at the restaurant outside the wine tasting. We were rushed to eat our meal that was outrageous expensive. We paid $40.00 for a meal that we had maybe 15 minutes to eat. Needless to say, it left a bad taste in my mouth. I only had time to eat a few bites of food to pay $40.00. The tour director needs to rethink the timing of the wine tasting! Otherwise, we had a great experience!!
