Amazing
The tour through the market was fun and interesting. Our guide was amazing and introduced us to a lot of different aspects of Japanese culture. The last part of the tour was our sushi making experience. The interpreter spoke English very well, and the chef was great! We all enjoyed our time.

Super Sushi Making Class wrapped in a Lively Tour of the Fish Market
Sean led us through the fish market. He had insight and humour. We learned about Japanese food at street level and had a many opportunities to buy samples of hot off the grill sea and meat dishes. Kate taught us how to prepare 5 kinds of sushi. The class had a great vibe. Good insights wrapped in clear here’s how you do it instruction. 100% recommended.

This was an enjoyable...
This was an enjoyable tour that began with a tour of the Tsukiji Temple and then food tasting in area. The tastings were well chosen and we had an opportunity to try various seafood as well as wagyu steak. The guide tried very hard to give a good experience. The only downside was his communication skill in English. However, we still managed to have a good time. Please note that this is not a tour of the tuna auction.

The best seafood we had in Tokyo!
We loved our Tsukiji tour with Hitomi! She was such a delight, very kind, funny and knowledgeable about the entire area. The food spots she chose were very tasty, we really liked all the street food stops as well as the restaurant. This is the perfect way to discover Tsukiji fish market and the surrounding temples! Thank you for the lovely day!

Great 2 in 1 foodie adventure
We had a great time exploring the Tsukiji market with our guide Ko who recommended all the “must try” items that were all oishii! Then we had an awesome experience learning how to make sushi with Miky and Chef Tanaka. They made it very simple to follow and it was all so delicious! It was definitely a highlight for my husband’s first trip to Japan! We would definitely do it all again and recommend it to our friends who plan to come to Tokyo!

This tour was incredible! Our tour guide, Shogun, was extremely knowledgeable about Tokyo and the fish market! He also accommodated my diet restrictions, which I very much appreciated!

Great sushi experience
The guides (Akiko) and sushi chef (Kate) were lovely. They toured us through the market stopping as needed and then we went to make sushi. The class was taught well and the food was delicious after when we ate it.

The Inner Market at Tsukiji Fish Market relocated to Toyosu in 2020, roughly 1.5 miles (2 kilometers) away from Tsujiki—head there to see the famed tuna auction.
The Outer Market, home to vendors and restaurants, still calls the original Tsukiji Fish Market home.
Take advantage of the many vendors in the Outer Market who sell some of the best sushi and freshest seafood you’ll ever taste.
The Outer Market of the Tsukiji Fish Market is technically wheelchair accessible, but not that easy to navigate due to the large crowds.
It’s free to enter the market, so you don’t need to buy Tsukiji Fish Market tickets.
