I booked this 12-hour tour, given I had limited time at Jeju Island. I was initially dreading the 5 am start time, but I am so glad I came to Jeju and had Mr. Kim as my guide. Mr. Kim is a former Korean Marine, and his professionalism, punctuality, and dedication were evident from the moment he picked me up. Despite the early start, he had already prepared chilled bottles of water for the journey. Throughout the day, he even treated me to coffee twice—completely unexpected acts of kindness that perfectly reflect the type of person he is. Although Mr. Kim has some proficiency in English, we communicated frequently using Google Translate, and it worked remarkably well. More importantly, he never let the language barrier diminish the experience. At every stop, he shared fascinating information about Jeju's history, geology, culture, and local legends. It was immediately obvious that he genuinely loves his island, takes tremendous pride in his work, and sincerely wants every guest to have an unforgettable experience. The itinerary itself was outstanding and showcased just how diverse Jeju truly is. We watched the sunrise at the UNESCO World Heritage Site Seongsan Ilchulbong (Sunrise Peak), admired the dramatic coastal scenery of Seopjikoji, walked through the tranquil cedar forest of Saryeoni Forest, explored the spectacular volcanic columns of Daepo Jusangjeolli Cliffs, visited Oedolgae Rock while learning the touching local legend of the nearby Grandmother and Grandfather Rocks, relaxed at the crystal-clear turquoise waters of Hyeopjae Beach overlooking Biyangdo Island, stopped at the beautiful Osulloc Tea Museum to experience Jeju's famous green tea culture, and visited the peaceful temple nestled at the foot of Sanbangsan Mountain. Every stop offered something completely different, making it feel like we experienced the very best of Jeju in a single day. One thing I especially appreciated was that Mr. Kim never rushed me. He encouraged me to take my time at every location, happily answered my many questions, and took some of the best photographs of me from my entire South Korea trip. His knowledge, patience, and eye for photography made each destination even more memorable. What impressed me most, however, wasn't just the itinerary; it was Mr. Kim himself. He is genuinely one of the kindest, most thoughtful, and most helpful people I have met during my travels. His generosity, warmth, and passion transformed an excellent sightseeing tour into an unforgettable experience. If you're looking for the best way to experience Jeju's volcanic landscapes, dramatic coastlines, forests, beaches, temples, and cultural heritage in a single day, I wholeheartedly recommend this tour.
