Top Santorini Sailing

If you love sailing, the sea, and a bit of adventure, this is the perfect excursion in Santorini! We got to swim in some of the most beautiful spots around the island, the food was excellent, and the crew aboard the Apostolos catamaran made every moment enjoyable. We were originally thinking about doing the sunset cruise, but we’re so glad we chose the morning cruise instead perfect weather for sunshine, swimming, and relaxing at sea. (fewer people too, there was just 8 of us!! ) We had such an amazing time with our friends and would definitely recommend this experience!

Very pleasant. Pick up was on time, boat departure was prompt and well organised. Cruise was very pleasant. We met and chatted to a dozen very pleasant people from around the world. BBQ lunch was tasty and varied. Ample drinks of all types. Maybe could have offered tea and coffee as well. Disembarkation was also efficient and mini bus transfer was also efficient. 3 swim sports offered. I Had a swim at red beach where we were out of the wind. A little coolish to start with for a 74 year old Aussie at the end of April but fun anyway. Nice sunny day with about 20km wind from the north west. Good day out and recommended.

Our fishing trip in Santorini with Pirate Captain Makis and first mate Elias was one of the absolute highlights of our entire vacation! From the moment we stepped on board, Captain Makis made us feel welcome, safe, and ready for an adventure. They are genuinely nice guys—equal parts knowledgeable fisherman and entertaining “pirate”—and kept the experience relaxed, enjoyable, and full of laughs. The fishing itself was incredible, but what made the trip truly special was the amazing meal he prepared right on the boat. He cooked the fish my husband caught along with some homemade tomato fritters, and it was honestly one of the best meals we had in Greece. Simple, fresh, and absolutely delicious. Eating a meal you just caught, overlooking the caldera, felt unforgettable. Captain Makis’ passion for the sea, storytelling, and hospitality shines through every moment of the tour. Whether you’re an experienced angler or trying fishing for the first time, you’ll feel completely taken care of. We left with great memories, beautiful photos, and full hearts. We can’t recommend this experience highly enough. If you’re visiting Santorini, don’t miss a day out on the water with Pirate Captain Mikos—it was pure magic!

This was one of the best tour experiences we've ever had. From communication before the tour, pickup and transfer to the tour itself and post-tour transfer. Everything was well organized and the tour itself exceeded expectations. The captain and crew kept us in drinks, explained the places we visited and allowed ample time for swimming. The meal onboard was excellent and, of course, the sunset was amazing. A perfect time on the water in Santorini. Highly recommended!!

From pick up to drop off it was perfect. Constantine and Karina had the best meal made for us of shrimp mussels salad chicken sausage bread the best appetizer bevies and yogurt with sour cherries. The swim/snorkle areas phenomenal. They shared their knowledge along the way. I would highly recommend. We did 10 am trip.

10/10 experience. Our tour guide was absolutely exceptional, personable and professional, and he even serenaded us with some Greek songs while watching the sunset over the Oia caldera. While I wasn’t originally looking forward to the volcano, I can honestly say it was fantastic to see and to learn the history/geology of Santorini and the surrounding islands. Make sure to pack hiking shoes because it’s a decent hike to the peak! There’s plenty of time to explore and take breaks on the hike up. Overall, this tour was the highlight of my trip to Santorini. You really can’t go to Santorini without seeing the famous sunset from a boat, and this excursion is the best way to do it!!

Our experience on the Seven Seas - Spiridakos private catamaran cruise in Santorini couldn’t have been any more spectacular! We were greeted at the pier and guided over to the area where our catamaran awaited. Captain Endri, George, and Bohan greeted us immediately with such welcoming Greek hospitality! We settled in and began our relaxing journey. George did a fantastic job of entertaining us with the history and stories about the area, and he threw bits of food into the water to draw the fish closer while we snorkeled. We’ve snorkeled in many different areas of the world and the locations this crew took us to were unlike anything we’ve ever experienced before! They took such great care of us — always making sure we were having a fantastic time, that we had something to drink, and that we were comfortable. We never had to ask for a single thing! And the food they cooked for us was an absolutely delicious feast — honestly tastier than the restaurants we ate in while we were in Athens! Our kids (15, 13, and 10) simply adored George and had the best time dancing to ABBA songs and doing the Macarena with him as we sailed back into port. We saw other passengers on different catamarans start dancing as well as our music and joyous energy sailed past them — I know they were wishing they were on our boat! This crew provided us with an experience we will never, ever forget. We’ll be booking with Captain Endri, George, and Bohan again in a heartbeat for our next getaway. What an incredible, family-bonding Seven Seas Spiridakos experience—thank you so much, team!

What a great day onboard this gorgeous catamaran! The driver picked us up in Oia at our hotel and took us to the port at Amoudi Bay, Oia, where we caught the boat, which was great, since we were staying in Oia! We took the morning cruise, since we could already watch the sunset from our resort balcony! There were about 10 other people on board with us, which made for a pleasant experience, as the boat was quite roomy! There was also an upper deck, so plenty of room to move around! The Captain and crew were super nice, skilled, accommodating and informative. We felt very safe and well taken care of as we cruised around the different sights. They fed us a wonderful meal, with a choice of chicken, fish or pork chops, which they grilled onboard. There were plenty of side dishes to go along with it too, plus dessert. Drinks were offered on board too! We were able to swim or snorkel at several stops. We didn’t swim to the hot springs, as we were told the minerals might stain our swimsuit. Be sure to wear darker colors if you plan to swim there. I regret not swimming there, because the water was cold at the places we swam! After a wonderful day enjoying the beauty of Santorini aboard our gorgeous boat, we were dropped off at the same location where we were picked up in Amoudi Bay. The driver was waiting for us there and took us back to our resort seamlessly! We highly recommend this morning catamaran tour! Good music was playing and it was such a nice and relaxing day! We look forward to going again when we return to this beautiful island! Thanks to the Captain and entire crew for a great day!
