Top Progreso Food & Drink

This isn’t just a food tour, it’s a chance to experience Progreso through the eyes of a local. Instead of tourist restaurants, you’ll follow a local expert where recipes are still made the traditional way. What makes this experience unique is the personal connection. You’ll meet the people behind the food, hear the stories of Progreso’s coastal and Mayan heritage, and learn why Yucatán cuisine is unlike any other in Mexico. The tour is small and intimate, so you’re never rushed or lost in a crowd. You’ll have time to ask questions, take photos, and truly enjoy each bite. Your guide doesn’t just explain what you’re eating, they show you how locals eat it and why it matters. Perfect for food lovers, curious travelers, and cruise visitors with limited time. If you want to eat like a local, avoid tourist traps, and understand Yucatán culture through its food, this is the experience to book
