Top Xian Painting Classes

Your clay boards follow the traditional plaster base formula used in ancient grotto murals, mixed with wheat straw and linen fibers. You can feel the raw, earthy, warm texture that canvas and paper simply cannot replicate. We provide natural mineral pigments such as azurite blue and cinnabar red, plus gilding relief techniques to recreate the golden ornate patterns of antique murals. Every clay board bears an irreplaceable natural texture, making your finished artwork utterly one-of-a-kind, with an aged charm echoing thousands of years of art history. Mass-market souvenirs all look identical, but your hand-painted clay mural holds the calm mood of your journey. Take your finished piece home to display on your desk, tea table or entryway; it also makes a far more thoughtful gift than generic trinkets. This relaxing hand-paint experience creates vintage Chinese mural artworks for decoration or gifts, suitable for individuals, families and groups.
