Worth the money, unmissable hike. Make sure you are hungry so you can enjoy the lunch in the village Nagore_E, Oct 2025 It is well organised, and great communication from the moment of booking. Prasanna even contacted our host directly to figure out the best way to pick us up as close to the accommodation as possible since google maps showed and un drivable road. He brought enough water for a climb in the sun. Prasanna, our guide, was lovely, nice and very good humoured. He stopped at a cash point for us, waiting the long queue, patiently, and explained every step what we were doing next. The climb to Sirigiya lion rock was worth the trip alone, but then had the plus of the bird watching in the lake and the visit to an old sri lankan village to see how they lived and cooked.

Lots of sightseeing packed into one day!

Great experience, got to alter the itinerary as we wished. Enjoyed climbing Sigiriya Rock and the villiage experience - food very nice and authentic. Safari was highlight, knowledgeable safari driver which was arranged by the company. Our driver for the day Ferose was friendly and knowledgeable. Comfortable car for long drives. Ferose was helpful and chatty and enjoyable company. Only thing to note is that all activities you need to pay for so have a decent amount of cash handy.

Long drive but worth it!

Pradeep was an excellent driver/guide. It was 4 hours from Colombo to Sigiriya. We had lunch at a nice buffet (wasn’t included even though said it was) on the way. He gave good advice since he didn’t accompany us to the sites about where to go, that we could get guide but not really needed. We made it up and back in under 2 hours. Long, hot walk up 1200 stairs, but not all at once. Take lots of water! Dambulla Caves were beautiful and less than 400 steps. Same thing with guide offering to explain but we were ok just viewing. Had to take off shoes and ground was really hot. Overall terrific service in a Toyota sedan that was personalized to what we wanted to see/do. We didn’t make all the suggested stops but did a few.
