To make sure you make your tour, plan for extra time as this is a tender port. Connor took us a wonderful tour of Rock of Cashel - Cahir castle & Kilkenny. There is lots of bus time to take in the scenery and a nap along the way. We were fortunate to have great weather and perfect visibility. Make sure that you layer your clothing for the changing weather.

The stairs to the Blarney Stone are treacherous. Steep, narrow , and many. To kiss it you have to lay down and over the side of the castle. There is someone there to hold you. The scenery is beautiful. If you leave from Dublin it is quite a drive up there. But worth it!

We see Rock of Cashel, enjoy our time at Blarney Castle and town. Driver Shay told us a lot about Ireland countys we drove by; sights, we saw on the trip and gave a lot useful facts/recommendations for good places, restaurants etc. in Dublin. Cork was very crowdy. Responsible and attentive driving all day long. Shay was a great driver through all day and checked on all people on the bus on the all destination.

A good trip and wonderful...

A good trip and wonderful sites were visited. Cashel is very interesting and a great example of the physical structure of Castle walks. Blarney was a great tour and the wait to " kiss the Blarney stone" was 15 minutes. The grounds at Blarney Castle are quite beautifully maintained. Finishing up the tour strolling around Cork was a nice completion to our tour.

Take this tour! Stepping into Rock of Cashel and Blarney Castle almost feels magical. The tour is a very convenient way to see both. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, so we learned a lot about Ireland’s history along with our tour, which we really appreciated. We went in November, so the line for the Blarney Stone wasn’t very long and we had more than enough time to explore the grounds.
