See how The Hague became the international city of peace and justice, from the saddle of a Dutch city bike. In two and a half hours you cover ground that would take a full day on foot. Start in the old centre with a view of the Binnenhof, where the 1907 Peace Conference met, then ride along the Lange Voorhout and past Noordeinde Palace, the King's working palace. Stop at the gates of the Peace Palace, home of the International Court of Justice. Through the Scheveningse Bosjes you reach the international zone: the Yugoslavia Tribunal, the OPCW, Eurojust and Europol. The last stop is the International Criminal Court by the dunes. The route is flat, about 13 km, mostly on cycle paths, at an easy pace. Prefer a little help on the pedals? Choose the e-bike option. This is a private tour: just you, your group and your guide.

This special William of Orange themed private tour offers a deeper dive into Delft at the very heart of Dutch history. Together with a knowledgeable local guide, you will explore the city through the life, death, and legacy of William of Orange, the Father of the Fatherland. The tour leads you through Delft’s historic center, with extended, guided visits to both the New Church and the Old Church. In the New Church, you will visit William of Orange’s mausoleum and learn why Delft became the burial place of the House of Orange. In the Old Church, your guide will place Delft’s religious, political, and social life into context during the turbulent years of the Dutch Revolt. Along the canals and streets of Delft, your guide will connect the story of William of Orange to the wider Golden Age of the Dutch Republic. You will also encounter other key figures linked to the city, including Johannes Vermeer, whose world was shaped by the legacy William of Orange left behind.

Cycle through Delft with your own private guide on a city bike from Hotel Arsenaal. Ride to the Oostpoort, the only Delft city gate still standing, then stop on the Markt, between the Stadhuis (City Hall) and the Nieuwe Kerk, where William of Orange is buried. Follow the Oude Delft canal to the leaning tower of the Oude Kerk, Vermeer's final resting place, and pass by the Prinsenhof, where William of Orange was shot in 1584. On the Hooikade you stand where Vermeer painted his famous "View of Delft" around 1660. The last stop is Agnetapark, a 19th-century garden village built for the workers of a yeast factory, before you ride back to Hotel Arsenaal. Delft is flat and compact, so the pace stays relaxed, with time for photos at every stop. This is a private guided experience, just for you and your group.

If you wonder how did the Lower Lands look 4 centuries ago during the Northern Renaissance, then you cannot miss Delft. Other Dutch cities deserve attention as well but it is Delft's city centre that survived throughout the centuries and stayed unchanged to this day. Delft is a quintessence of the history of the Dutch Kingdom. Delft is a mix of the country's past and future. Delft is a perfect collage of religion, arts, scientific developments and the history of the Dutch Royal family. There is also a rich history of privateering, scams and intrigues, feats and heroism. If you are curious about at least one of those, then you cannot miss Delft. If you like lazy walks, visiting the fish market or enjoying the views of windmills far from all the crowds and fuss, then Delft is a must-see. It is also the place where the famous Delft china is made. Here you will also find the cosiest canals covered with green duckweed. Not to mention…

Following pickup from your accommodation, take part in a short meet and greet with your driver before starting your journey to the Keukenhof. The Keukenhof is a flower park in Lisse, 45 minutes from Amsterdam. The park has an area of 32 hectares. Beside the flowers, the Keukenhof also has exhibitions of special flowers with a new flower each week. Some examples of these themes are roses, orchids, and chrysanthemums. Whilst at the site it is also possible to take a boat trip, which sees you sailing between the bulb fields. These boat trips are referred to as whisper trips, due to the boat's electric motors. At the Tulip Experience Amsterdam you will see the history of the tulip in their museum. After that you can go into the bulb fields with more then 1 millions tulips and 700 different kinds and make some nice pictures. At the end you can pluck your own tulips.
