Wonderful trip with Paul...
Wonderful trip with Paul who was a fabulous guide that balanced information with self exploration. The return from the chapel at the top was fine - the hard part was actually the path after the climb back to the restaurant meeting spot. It was a great challenge and Paul was understanding that my mum needed a few stops along the steep climb back and in the end she felt great for achieving the climb. He was really positive and supportive! 100% would recommend!

Great tour
We went on a small guided tour with Asier, who was great. As a Game of Thrones fan, I am glad we got to spend a lot of time on site. Asier gave us a lot of context and information on the various sites. He managed our time well and we never felt rushed. He even gave us excellent recommendations on where we might want to eat for dinner (tour ended by 3:30).

I had a great time!
Amazing tour despite the weather. Probably the best tour guide I've had from all the tours I've done. Very informational, easy to understand and I took a bunch of great photos. Thoroughly recommend.

Dragonstone and Guernica...
Dragonstone and Guernica were amazing. I guess Mundaka should be cool during the summer but this time of the year I would had liked to spend more time in Guernica instead. Our guide Adur was amazing.

Mundaka
  • One of the best places to pick up souvenirs locally is Mundaka BC, a gift shop that primarily stocks local brands.

  • Seafood is, unsurprisingly, the order of the day in Mundaka, and restaurants like Bar Goikoa offer a chance to taste local dishes.

  • While you’re here, don’t miss San Juan de Gaztelugatxe: The rocky island and hermitage (and Game of Thrones location) is one of the most popular stops on the Basque coast.

  • Mundaka has several local surf schools that supply gear and host courses.

  • The left-hand wave is generally best reserved for intermediate and advanced surfers; it can be powerful and also has a strong rip current.
