Best Hike experience
What a great experience. The hike wasn't super easy but it also wasn't as difficult as I anticipated. Our guide was very helpful, knowledgeable and super friendly. The views at the top of the volcano was breathtaking and we also got some icecream once we reached the top. Lunch after was the best food I had on the trip. I would recommend this excusion with this tour guide to everyone.

Absolutely worth the trip!!! Diego is a real professional
It is a long bus ride but the buses are comfortable and air conditioned and there are several options to stop and use the restroom or grab coffee if wanted. Diego was our driver and made the immigration stops a breeze. He was so helpful and discussed many interesting things with us. The ruins are breathtaking in scope and importance. The local guides are experts and make the tour even more magical. Don’t skip this because it’s far away. We also enjoyed exploring the town of copan and had a little taste of Honduran life, and of course Honduran food is delicious. This tour exceeded our expectations

Chamba was super friendly...
Chamba was super friendly and an amazing tour guide! He took us through the entire tour while sharing detailed background and history about each place we visited. He recommended the best local shops if we wanted to buy souvenirs, as well as the best places for coffee and pupusas. His knowledge, attention to detail, and positive attitude made the experience even more enjoyable. We truly appreciated his excellent service and highly recommend him!

Good tour with Josep!
This was a good tour! Josep was very friendly and knowledge. It was nice visiting the cities and coffee farm.
The coffee farm is more of a restaurant/cafe where we tasted coffee, and we then did a little nature walk where we passed coffee plants.
The colonial cities were cool to see and it was nice to be given some free time to explore and shop.

Superior serviceO
Fernando was exceptionally professional. I appreciate how he always kept in contact with me via WhatsApp. During my ride to the hotel and also back to the airport he always arrived 30 minutes prior to the expected time. Fernando speaks perfect English, it's very courteous, and knowledgeable about the history of El Salvador. I had a great experience throughout my entire transport. Thank you, Fernando!

Long but worth it to see Antigua!
Super long day (my pick-up time was 4:20am & I was dropped off after 8pm), as others have said, but worth it! Antigua was amazing. Our time there was well-split between a 2 hour tour, followed by 2 hours of time on our own for lunch & whatever else. I’d have liked to have one more hour in Antigua, balancing the trip between 5 hours on the road, 5 hours in Antigua, and 5 hours on the return journey. But instead we got 4 hours in Antigua.
The guides were respectful & professional & I’d have felt safe with them as a woman travelling alone. The van was spacious & myself and the two other tourists who signed up for this each had a row of seats to stretch out & even nap on, which made the drive easier. I also appreciated that the guides/drivers did not play loud music on the way. This made it easier to listen to podcasts and books about Guatemala on my airpods which made the journey better.

Cafe Albania bike Zipline, Rainbow Slide, Wings Swing, Santa teresa Hotsprings
Our tour guide Lizbeth picked us up from our hotel to start our tour on time. The tour guide was knowledge, professional and we learned a lot of history. The rainbow slide/bike zipline/wings swing were super fun. The Santa Teresa Hotsprings were awesome and relaxing. Our lunch was delicious at La Parilla De Lenha with typical food from El Salvador. highly recommend it.

If travel memories were currency, Diego just made us wildly rich. 🌎✨
We had Diego as a tour guide. From the moment we met him, it felt less like a tour and more like being shown around by a friend who knows all the hidden gems. He took us to Café Albania, and let’s just say… the views alone deserve their own postcard series. Absolutely breathtaking. Then came Taco Town, where the food hit exactly the way it should after an adventure—flavor-packed, authentic, and unforgettable.
But the real adrenaline chapter? The ATV ride. Mud, laughs, insane scenery—it was the kind of experience that makes you feel alive in all caps. Diego made sure we felt safe the whole time while still letting us have that full-on adventure energy.
And just when we thought it couldn’t get better… the hot springs. Pure relaxation mode unlocked. The perfect ending to a perfectly curated day.
Diego is knowledgeable, patient, fun, and clearly passionate about what he does. He didn’t just guide us—he elevated the entire experience. If you’re even thinking about booking a tour, stop thinking and just ask for Diego. Trust me, your future memories will thank you. 🙌

Well worth the hike!!!
The hike down to the waterfalls is intense. So wear proper shoes. But once you get to the falls, its well worth the hike. It was about a 45min hike down. Going back up was super intense. Those mountains are super steep. But our tour guide Diego was extremely patient and friendly with us. El Tunco beach was beautiful and there are plenty of places to eat, drink, and shop.

Excellent tour due to our awesome tour guide Josue!
Josue was incredible. He was very enthusiastic about informing us about the history of El Salvador, in addition to how the current healthcare and education systems work. But most importantly, he always made sure we had a good time. He snuck in a trip to Cafe Albania in Apaneca for us though it technically wasn't on the agenda. We got to ride the bicycles in the air and go down the rainbow slides. So fun! Also, in the markets of Nahuizalco, he bought pupusas made of yuca as well as other delicious foods and fruits for us to try. And he drove us to our hotel despite it being much out of the way of the city. Always patient and making sure we had a good time, Josue was friendly, respectful, and so knowledgeable. He was absolutely fantastic and made this tour well worth it!

The capital of the small country of El Salvador, San Salvador is a perfect jumping-off point for exploring the country. Scale Santa Ana Peak, the country’s tallest mountain and an active volcano; border-hop into nearby Honduras for the ruins of Copan, some of the world's best-preserved Maya ruins; or follow the Ruta de las Flores, a path that features incredible biodiversity and indigenous culture. San Salvador tours are the way to see the country and region in all its complexity.
