Must-do in El Salvador
If you are able bodied and want to have an unforgettable experience in this small Central American country, this is the tour you need to do. The climb up the volcano is half the fun. And the views from above are awesome. Francis our guide took us up and down the volcano and provided us with the information about the tour itself as well as s bit of history and current progress of the country. Josue the driver also made the long drive to the sites and back to the hotel so smooth and safe.

Used them for airport...
Used them for airport pickup and back to the airport at the end of our trip. Must have walked past them at the airport, but just turned around and went through the line again and met them halfway up. Pricing similar to Uber for 2, plenty of space for a scooter my wife uses. On time for return to the aiport. Highly recommend.

Cafe Albania bike Zipline, Rainbow Slide, Wings Swing, Santa teresa Hotsprings
Our tour guide Lizbeth picked us up from our hotel to start our tour on time. The tour guide was knowledge, professional and we learned a lot of history. The rainbow slide/bike zipline/wings swing were super fun. The Santa Teresa Hotsprings were awesome and relaxing. Our lunch was delicious at La Parilla De Lenha with typical food from El Salvador. highly recommend it.

Volcano Views & Vibes: My Solo Day Running Through San Salvador
This is a great trip to familiarize yourself with San Salvador and the surrounding areas of El Salvador. Osmaro was a great guide and my personal photographer :)
I learned a great deal about the country and amazing facts about each stop. Being a solo traveler, I felt completely safe and had an amazing time! The group size was perfect for meeting new people, but also being able to get a personalized experience. I truly enjoyed each and every stop we made.

Great tour, make sure to check!
Great tour! Everyone was super nice and communicated very well, it was super easy getting through all the borders, and the drive wasn’t bad at all. Lots of opportunities to see new things and meet new people. Definitely a long day though, left at 04:30am and returned at 8:00pm. Need room for 6-8 new passport stamps. Definitely communicate with them and check if your trip will be going, as my trip was scheduled for a Tuesday, and on the Saturday before I messages then to check if my tour would be going, as they will cancel the night before if you are the only person on the tour that day, and they told me I was the only person booked for the Tuesday, so I was able to be moved to the Monday instead on a day the tour was already confirmed to be going.

Great tour!
Great tour! I had a lot of fun on this trip and would definitely recommend it. My tour guide Alfredo was super kind and helpful, and all the archeological sites are super interesting. The hike up the volcano is also super fun, but definitely make sure you are wearing appropriate shoes and clothes.

Professional and informative with food and food for thought
Dave is very professional yet entertaining and informative, covering many topics from history to politics to education system and economy. With 20 people in the group, it was still personalised enough to ask questions and the pace was slow with lots of stops. Even so there were options offered to purchase authentic El Salvadorian food and drink at various stops as part of the experience, there was never a hard sell or push. We enjoyed the walk immensely and loved all the food for thought. 😃

Amazing Tour Experience
I had such a great time on this tour. Arely our tour guide was knowledgeable, engaging, and made every stop feel meaningful. You could tell Arely really cared about creating a memorable experience for everyone. Belis our driver was just as impressive — safe, smooth driving the entire way and such a friendly presence.
The two of them worked so well together that the whole day felt effortless. I left with new memories, fun stories, and a deeper appreciation for the places we visited. Highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a well-organized, enjoyable, and stress-free experience.
Gracias Arely!!!

Beautiful, must do all day tour!
An AMAZING full day tour with Josue! He was very informative and the communication from pick up to drop off was great. All admissions were included and details were accurate in the description. Josue was patient with us all in the crazy traffic and took sooooo many pictures and videos of my friends and I. Cafe Albania was fun - and quick lines even when crowded & hot springs were clean and quiet. Beautiful experience and DELICIOUS food!

Excellent Tour!!!
Our recent tour led by Salva was an enriching experience filled with educational insights and a deep dive into El Salvador's vibrant culture and history. Starting our day with a visit to charming small towns, we were immediately captivated by their unique architecture and local vibes. Salva took the time to explain the historical significance of each location, providing context that made every stop more meaningful.
One highlight was our visit to a local farmer’s market. Here, Salva shared fascinating details about the agricultural practices in the region and the importance of supporting local farmers. His passion for the local produce was infectious; we learned about various fruits and vegetables native to El Salvador, which added depth to our culinary experiences later in the day.
Afterward, we made our way to Cafe Albania for a morning filled with activities. The rainbow slide, aerial bicycle, and swing were not only fun but also designed to immerse us in the natural beauty surrounding us. Salva's encouragement and enthusiasm made the experience even more enjoyable, fostering a sense of camaraderie among the group.
Lunch in Ataco was another standout moment. We savored authentic El Salvadoran food, indulging in delicious pupusas and refreshing margaritas. Salva took the time to explain the ingredients and cultural significance of the dishes, enriching our appreciation for the local cuisine.
In the afternoon, we headed to the hot springs, where we relaxed and connected with fellow travelers. Salva facilitated discussions that allowed us to share our experiences and insights from the day, further enhancing our understanding of the culture and history of El Salvador.
The ride back to San Salvador was filled with laughter and reflections on our day. Salva’s storytelling and knowledge created an unforgettable excursion that was both educational and enjoyable. His ability to weave historical context with personal anecdotes made the tour not just informative but also deeply engaging.
This tour was a wonderful blend of fun, relaxation, and learning, all thanks to Salva's exceptional guidance. If you're looking for an immersive experience in El Salvador, I highly recommend joining one of his tours!
The four women on our tour called ourselves, “Salva’s Chicas” 😂😍 We created a WhatsApp group to share photos. Salva captured pictures of us on the slide and swing and shared with the group as well.

Praise Julio
All the praise goes to Julio my driver. This is a hard bumpy 10+ hour round trip and he handled it like a champion. Traffic and potholes scooters etc. Antigua is amazing a must visit it is much busier and active than San salvador. Tons of shops and little restaurants. History all around with volcanos all around you. My guide there was Manuel and he was amazing took us to all the churches and sites in the city. The drive is the hardest part, the border is easy. If you survive the long hard drive it is totally worth the price or just stay in Antigua all together its amazing

10 out of 10
We had an absolutely incredible walking tour of San Salvador with our guide, Carlos. From the moment the tour began, Carlos brought the city to life with his deep knowledge, thoughtful storytelling, and genuine passion for El Salvador’s history and culture.
He answered every question we had and we had a lot! Carlos answered with patience and so much insight. You can tell he truly loves what he does and cares about giving visitors an authentic and meaningful experience. We walked away with a richer understanding of the city and a new appreciation for its beauty and complexity.
If you’re visiting San Salvador, do yourself a favor and book a tour with Carlos. It was one of the highlights of our trip!

The capital of the small country of El Salvador, San Salvador is a perfect jumping-off point for exploring the country. Scale Santa Ana Peak, the country’s tallest mountain and an active volcano; border-hop into nearby Honduras for the ruins of Copan, some of the world's best-preserved Maya ruins; or follow the Ruta de las Flores, a path that features incredible biodiversity and indigenous culture. San Salvador tours are the way to see the country and region in all its complexity.
