Enjoy a private cooking class in a local San Juan home in a residential neighborhood away from the touristy center. This is a perfect experience for anyone looking to connect with local Puerto Rican culture over food. Your cooking class takes place in a local home kitchen where Yeira will teach you 4-5 traditional Puerto Rican dishes. After cooking, enjoy your meal together with this warm and friendly local, passionate about food and travel. Experience authentic Puerto Rican life and cuisine with your host Yeira as you cook together and dine on authentic family recipes you won't find in restaurants. Yeira is a fun local host with a doctorate in clinical psychology who believes that food and cooking promotes wellness in people! She is excited to share her authentic Puerto Rican cuisine and culture with those visiting her hometown of San Juan.

Along with your local Chef, you will discover the unique flavors of Puerto Rican gastronomy while learning about our heritage and culture passed down through food. As part of this class, you will visit a local farmer's market, choose Caribbean staples for ingredients, and learn to cook some traditional dishes. Ask your chef for their secret dessert recipe!

Enjoy a taste of the Caribbean during a hands-on mixology at Casa BACARDI, the Puerto Rican home of BACARDI rum. Sip on a welcome cocktail, then learn to craft, shake, and sip BACARDI cocktails alongside a mixologist. Note: guests must be 18 years or older to participate.

Local Host Yeira will open her doors from the coziness of her place to share with you a taste of traditional cuisine integrating Puerto Rican and family history. She will guide you step by step on how to cook a traditional family dish rooted in her culinary experiences. After cooking you will be enjoying the creation of a delicious result in the outdoor terrace. At the end you will have not only a full stomach and recipes to share with your loves ones, but also an unforgettable experience in your heart.
