Great day out

Great day out, beautiful part of the world. Would have loved more snorkeling time, though not sure what to remove from the itinerary to allow for that! Maybe stay one spot??? Guide and skipper were nice and ensure everyone’s safety and wellness throughout. Lunch was excellence, better than expected for this type of tour. View was stellar also!

So many highlights! We had a fabulous day out with Josh and Ellie on Thunderstruck....they were absolutely fantastic hosts, who were determined to insure we had the best experience. The 12 metre RIB and Josh's enthusiastic helming made an exhilarating ride .Not enough superlatives to describe the view from Hill Inlet! The snorkeling was amazing- crystal blue water, it was like swimming in a tropical aquarium. I highly recommend this trip..we had the best time ever.

An amazing Ocean Rafting experience! The crew were friendly, professional and full of energy. The boat ride was exciting, the scenery around the Whitsundays was absolutely beautiful, and the whole day was very well organised. I especially loved the snorkelling and visiting Whitehaven Beach and Hill Inlet. Definitely one of the highlights of my trip!

Fun day

That was the second best day of my life!!! ( besides my wedding day). We had so much fun with the crew and other passengers( the Ozzie ones) . Gary was the funny one 😂. Amelia and James were so down to earth and helpful as well. Great job guys!! We loved the snorkelling,. So peacefull. Then back on the boat for more party and doughies 🥳. We will make it our yearly go to when we come up . Can we have the same crew next year? 😂

The Whitsundays & Hamilton Island

Know before you go

The seas of tropical northern Queensland aren’t safe to swim in year-round. Deadly jellyfish can be present at any time, but October through May are especially dangerous. Stick to net-protected areas, and follow local advice and signs.
The only way to stay overnight at Whitehaven Beach is to sleep on a boat moored offshore or camp at a basic national park site. Campers must be totally self-sufficient and take waste out with them.
Whitehaven Beach has no commercial facilities, so take your own lunch (or find out whether your tour operator provides it).
