We booked a private tour...
We booked a private tour for a day trip from Buenos Aires to see both sides of the falls.
We arrived a little late due to a weather delay.
Perro, a very friendly and humorous local, greeted us as we exited the terminal and promptly brought us to the Brazilian side to meet Rodrigo who would be our personal guide for the rest of the tour. Rodrigo was very knowledgeable about all the local wildlife, culture and history of the Iguazu region and delighted us with his ability to communicate with us in English, German and Spanish. We were very impressed with his detailed explanations of the fauna and his ability to answer all our questions. It was very convenient for us to leave our belongings in his SUV as he brought us to all the viewing areas and was able to get us to the front of lines due his private tour credentials. He also brought us to a beautiful local restaurant where we enjoyed a wonderful lunch. After an incredible time on the Brazil side we were ready to see the Argentina side of the falls. Unfortunately due to very high water conditions the elevated walk ways to the Devils Throat area were closed limiting the viewable parts of the falls from the Argentina side.
We also drove through a very interesting community where the where the indigenous people live. A final stop at the juncture of the three countries of the Iguazu Falls was a nice finishing touch and photo opportunity for this tour.
I would like to advise those that are planning a day trip from Buenos Aires that it is important to arrive in Puerto Iguazu on schedule if you want to see both sides.

Outstanding private guide for Iguazú Falls
We had an exceptional experience with Nicholas as our private guide for a full day visiting both the Argentine and Brazilian sides of Iguazú Falls.
Nicholas met us at our hotel precisely at the agreed-upon time, and from that point on, the entire day could not have gone better. We were especially glad we chose to have a private guide because we had only one day to experience both sides of the Falls. Nicholas made the entire day easy, efficient, and very well planned.
His knowledge of the area and his recommendations were invaluable. He knew how to navigate the border crossings, how to make the most of our time at the Falls, and, importantly, how to avoid many of the inevitable crowds. His planning allowed us to see and experience so much without feeling rushed or overwhelmed.
Nicholas was professional, knowledgeable, punctual, and clearly committed to making sure we had a great experience. Having him guide us through both Argentina and Brazil made a complicated one-day itinerary remarkably easy.
We could not have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend Nicholas to anyone visiting Iguazú Falls.

Highly recommend
We started a little late but that was not the fault of the tour guide. After that the tour was perfect. We started at the Argentina side of the falls, had an excellent walk and plenty of time. It felt like this was just a build up to the incredible falls view on the Brazilian side. Again, flawless transport. We would have been lost knowing where to go, what line to stand in, where to buy tickets. There were only 5 of us so it allowed for us to get to know each other much easier. Watching the huge groups made me appreciate this so much more.

We had a really great day...
We had a really great day on this tour.
The tour was advertised to start at 8:30am, but our hotel pickup was actually at 6:45am. At first, we thought it was going to be a very early start, but honestly, it was worth it. Because we started early, we managed to cover everything comfortably and were back at our hotel before 4pm.
Our guide, Leticia, was excellent. She was friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable, and she made the whole day enjoyable. She also did a great job keeping us on schedule without making us feel rushed.
We visited Christ the Redeemer, Sugarloaf Mountain, the stadium with the Pele statue at the entrance, and the colourful Selaron Steps. Every place was interesting and gave us a different experience of Rio.
And the lunch was a real highlight too, the food was sumptuous and exactly what we needed after a morning of sightseeing!
Overall, it was a very well organised and enjoyable tour. A special thank you to Leticia for making our day in Rio so memorable. We were really happy that we chose this tour and would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to see the main highlights of Rio in one day.

Amazing time
The experience was a great time and a must-do excursion when visiting Iguazu Falls. Our guide, Maximilian, was knowledgeable about the area and went out of his way to make the excursion a great time. Getting to see the falls up close and get a shower after a hot day was amazing. Definitely recommend this.

Excellent private tour and guide
We had an amazing day with Willian on our tour around iguazu falls. He picked us up and told us about the history of the parks and the area. He took us to the area where Brazilian, Argentina, and Paraguay meet. Since it was a private tour, he adjusted to our wants and needs. Even though it rained some, we still had a great day in the park. Definitely book your tour with Willian and you won’t be disappointed.

The Falls from both sides of the river
Absolutely fantastic experience- the waterfalls are spectacular and you must see from both countries for the total perspective. I’d recommend doing the boat trip too though prepare to get wet. A must do experience. Our guide- Sidnei - was superb just the right level of help and information. Without him we’d have been stuck in the lines. Overall one of the best things I’ve done.

Great food, great...
Great food, great performances, and a fun atmosphere. I spent my birthday in Foz do Iguaçu and really enjoyed this experience. The dancers and performers were talented, and the show showcased cultures from across Latin America in an entertaining way.
As a solo traveler from the United States, I may have been the only American there that night, but I felt completely comfortable and welcomed.
Definitely worth adding to your itinerary if you’re visiting Foz.

Once-in-a-lifetime experience.
We chose this tour as a private experience for just the two of us, and it turned out to be an excellent decision. The tour was well-paced, giving us plenty of time to enjoy each stop without ever feeling rushed. We visited both sides of the falls — the Argentinian side and the Brazilian side — and both were absolutely magnificent. However, our favorite was the trail on the Brazilian side, with its breathtaking panoramic views.
Our guide was exceptional, sharing fascinating historical insights, information about wildlife conservation efforts, and engaging local stories throughout the day. The trails were self-guided, allowing us to explore at our own pace while still having ample time to take photos and fully appreciate the scenery.
Highly recommended — this is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The falls are simply stunning, powerful, and unforgettable.

Chasing waterfalls
I was picked up by Ernesto from my hotel who was such a kind, friendly, and funny driver. His English was excellent, and he made the border crossing into Brazil and immigration process completely smooth and stress-free. Along the drive, he shared interesting information about the area, which made the journey even more enjoyable.
My guide for the day met me at a hotel in Brazil and the overall experience was great. The only hiccup was waiting almost two hours for the guide to arrive. I didn’t mind the wait too much, but better communication would have been appreciated to remove the anxiousness of waiting alone.
Iguazu Falls was simply magical , the beauty and power of the falls were absolutely unforgettable. The panoramic view gave a different perspective of the falls from what I had seen the previous day on the Argentinian side.
At the end of the tour I was safely returned to my hotel on the Argentinian side. The smooth journey, incredible views at the falls and warmth from the driver, guide and fellow passengers made this a truly memorable experience. Highly recommend!

Getting wet under the Iguazu Falls!!! Wow!!!
Carlos is a highly experienced tour guide, this being his 36th year of guiding. We loved the Argentine side of the falls, having already been to the Brazilian side and a helicopter ride over the falls. But the highlight for us was being right at the Devils Throat! Wow. Then the Grand Adventure- the boat ride was AMAZING and EXHILARATING. SO MUCH FUN!! And I am 65!

Unforgettable Trip to Iguazu Falls
Our guide, Eduardo, was perfect. He took care of us so well and made a lot effort to make our trip as comfortable as possible. He was knowledgeable and took us to shortcuts to save us time. He impressed us for being a young student and working so diligently as the same time. If you book this excursion, Please ask for Eduardo. You will not be disappointed!

Experience legendary cascades and the best of Argentinean culture with Puerto Iguazu tours. There are several great options for experiencing this UNESCO World Heritage Site—one of the world’s largest waterfalls—such as flying above the jungle canopy on a zipline and experiencing the region’s natural wonders from a truly unique vantage point. There are also tours that let your enjoy traditional Argentine foods like empanadas and wine, or catch a show at a churrascaria steakhouse.
