Impactful Experience
The Nelson Mandela House was engaging and informative. The Apartheid Museum was a riveting and impactful experience that wrapped guests in a full circle experience of the history of the struggle for freedom and equality for SA Natives. Our tour guide was very helpful and informative, as was the guides at Mandela House and the Apartheid Museum.

The perfect guide!
Khutsu was the most excellent travel guide. He was well rehearsed in giving all the information a tourist would want to hear during the journey and proceeded to answer all our questions. One of the best guides i have ever had - perfect diction and volume. Was a great way to see the Soweto and Apartheid Museum.

Johannesburg, Soweto, Apartheid museum
Great tour of parts of Johannesburg and Soweto I could never have found on my own. Joseph from Jeff tours was very knowledgeable and informative and knew all the short cuts when we clashed with the G20 preparations. The Apartheid museum is very good and you could probably spend all day there but 2 hours was enough to get some great knowledge of what went on under apartheid.

Apartheid museum closed...
Apartheid museum closed on Mondays. There’s no official contribution or payment from tour to Soweto residents. Bring cash if you wish to donate something. We stopped at local vendor stalls. There are also performers for tips at Mandela house.
