Kuranda Experience
Be prepared for a glorious long day of beautiful views. Faultless & very helpful staff will guide you through both the Skyrail & Train with a history talk throughout the train journey.

A big thank you to Peter...
A big thank you to Peter our bus driver and day organiser for a really informative and knowledgeable dialogue along the way and during the day. He actually made the day for us.
It was a pity that the audio on the skyrail wasn't working on anyone's phone. I was looking forward to the information therein.

This tour is transport and arrangements only
This isn’t really a tour - just transport and ticket acquisition for the experience. Our driver was friendly and gave a little spiel on the drive, but from there you’re on your own which is fine, but the description read more of a group guide.

Sky up, train down.
You can do the route two ways; either works. I took the skyrail up and the train back. I think it is better to try both things than to do one up and down. The train heading down was excellent fun, great views. The skyrail up was also full of great views (and clouds). I suggest you stop and take the walks on the way up.

Kuranda trip was great!
Great trip but maybe a bit much time in Kuranda since we snacked and didn’t sit down to a lunch. We went to the butterfly sanctuary and bird world and enjoyed both. Didn’t do the koala attraction because we had done Featherdale. Up on the cableway in the morning and down on the train in the afternoon on the gold coach where we got unlimited beverages and 3 rounds of snacks and a lot of staff attention.

It’s well worth the trip. Beautiful waterfalls and sites. Good markets at the village. The butterflies and animal exhibits were fun to see.

Great way to see the rainforest
great way to see the rainforest and learn about local history.
See the forest and town by rail and then we took the skyway down through the rain forest seeing from above and learning about rain forest ecosystem, plants and animals. Stopped at the water fall which was massive due to rain and run off over the dam at the top of the river

Sky rail and train was...
Sky rail and train was nice trip, but what it is $250.00 is a bit expensive, somewhere between $ 150.00-$ 175.00 would more reasonable

Excellent nature experience
Very nice experience with Skytrain one way and the Scenic Railway the other. The time in Kuranda village was a bit too long the way it was arranged.

Fun full day tour
This was such a lovely tour! A full day excursion that included Skyview Gondola and Scenic Railway. We really enjoyed the entire day. Chris our tour guide was so knowledgeable and we loved all his banter. He definetly went the extra mile and bosun (dog) was such a good second in command.

The Kuranda Experience
Would not miss it. Traveling on the sky train gives you a wonderful Birds Eye view of the area. We visited the bird, butterfly and koala sanctuaries which was great. There are many unique stores along with a great open market in Kuranda. The train ride was quite amazing and very magical. We had booked the gold card coach. Would definitely recommend.
