Nice day

We thought we would get to ride the sky rail part of the way, but that was not to be. The train ride back was very nice in the Gold class. There was a bit too much time in the town of Kuranda. All of the experiences, birdworld, butterfly enclosure, and koala sanctuary were small but nice. If you are not a shopper, you can easily do all three.

This was an easy way to visit the rain forest. The coach picked us up and drove up the mountain to Kuranda. We enjoyed the sky buckets and the train ride down, as well as the shops and markets in town. Everything was well documented and the paperwork made this an easy trip.

Great way to see the rainforest

great way to see the rainforest and learn about local history. See the forest and town by rail and then we took the skyway down through the rain forest seeing from above and learning about rain forest ecosystem, plants and animals. Stopped at the water fall which was massive due to rain and run off over the dam at the top of the river
