La Storia Tourism Complex
  • The museum has a restaurant on the upstairs floor that serves traditional Jordanian food from the region and hot tea and snacks.

  • Informative panels in both Arabic and English explain each scene alongside the dioramas. But visiting with a local guide is still recommended to give additional context, particularly for the Bedouin displays.

  • La Storia attempts to break the world record for the largest mosaic mural. A special section of the museum displays what could turn out to be the largest mosaic mural in the world, set to measure 98 feet (30 meters) long and 20 feet (6 meters) tall.

  • The kitschy life-sized dioramas—with their quizzical expressions and messy hair, standing against three-dimensional backdrops—are a hit with kids. Expect to see family-friendly biblical scenes from the surrounding areas, from Noah’s Ark to the parting of the Red Sea.
