Top Lorraine Sightseeing Tours in 2026

This private one-day tour will immerse you in the history of one of the bloodiest battles of the First World War, which culminated in the armistice of 1918. You will discover many vestiges, witnesses of these battles.

This tour stands out for its deeply historical, accessible, and immersive approach. There's no sensationalism or simplistic narrative here: the goal is to understand Verdun. Through the landscapes, forts, trenches, and original positions, I place each location within the military, human, and strategic context of 1916. The tour draws on historical sources, eyewitness accounts, and a precise analysis of the terrain to explain how and why this battle became a global symbol. The tour is designed as a true immersion in history, suitable for both enthusiasts and first-time visitors to Verdun.
