Comprehensive Tour of Soweto and attractions!

Shane was a great tour guide on our tour to Soweto. With him being from the area, he had a good bit of information to offer in terms of historical context. We visited the Nelson Mandela House, the Apartheid Museum, and Constitution Hill. After you visit each attraction Shane was there to welcome and transport you to the next site. We even had a great discussion about the history of Johannesburg. I would recommend this tour if you want to immerse yourself in the history of Johannesburg.

This is the tour you want to do

I was a little worried that this would just be a taxi guide, but this wasn’t the case at all. I was so impressed with our guide Nkululeko (& his articulate English) and the way he shared the history made this experience incredible. This is a must do tour to take in the essence of Johannesburg and the core culture.

We had a fabulous experience

Merriam, was our tour guy, she was very knowledgeable and professional as well. She took the time to explain in detail some of the various prominent/historical sites in Soweto. She also allowed us to take pictures of the various sites. When we arrived to Mandela‘s home, our guide gave us information about Mandela that we were totally unaware of and was very interesting as well. She was very wonderful and magnanimous which kept us engaged the entire trip. We would recommend her to anyone who is looking for having an excellent experience.
