This was a wonderful day....
This was a wonderful day. Our guides Ben and Jamie were fantastic. The hike was very scenic. The guides were extremely knowledgeable about the terrain, birds, and plant life. Both of them were very personable. My wife and I both were very pleased with this experience. I would highly recommend booking this activity to anyone wanted to go on a hiking experience Every thing about this experience was top notch!!

Rosa was awesome!
Weather dependent. Our trip was on a cloudy, rainy day. We ended up hiking to Lake Howden instead of the key summit. We wouldn’t be able to see any view at the summit. Our guide took us on a nature walk after to supplement the hiking. Our guide, Rosa, was an absolute delight. She was super knowledgeable about plants/environment and was able to show us and teach us so many things. She slowed down the walk to allow us to appreciate the simple things. I now know why the rocks are orange and can spot lichen!! She made the hike so much more enjoyable in the rain. Rosa was a rock star!!

Great guides
The guides were great and the hike is beautiful. This is a fabulous hike if you can't do the whole Routeburn tramp.

Wonderful small group walk
Our guide John and Jane were so kind and lovely. We stopped at several spots on the way to the Routeburn track and their explanation was very informative and helpful. As a solo traveler, I felt safer with the group on the track and they gave us a much nicer time of trail walk with all the care and talks. At the key summit, they served us some nice tea which warmed us up. Until the end of the trip, it was so much enjoyable and fun. I’ll recommend this to anyone who’s planning the trekking at Te Anau!
