Derbyshire country as we hoped it would be
Wonderful English countryside and quintessential Derbyshire villages of the Peak District. We even discovered some off-tourist trap, walking tracks to escape the inevitable bustle. Our guide, Darren was knowledgeable and delivered his commentary with enthusiasm, warmth and humour. A brilliant experience well worth our time and money!

Beautiful scenery
Pete did a great job in explaining the history around the area. We stopped at Eyam, Bakewell and Castleton and there were plenty of times to explore.

We cancelled but still a classy operation
Unfortunately my husband got sick the night before we were supposed to go and we had to cancel. It was not within the 24 hour mark so there was no refund but we knew this when we canceled. The cancelation process was easy. I did it right online. I still am reviewing with a 5 star because our tour guide did reach out to us right away and checked on us. I thought that was above and beyond.

A gem with plenty of upside!
So glad we did this day trip! A hidden gem with plenty of upside. Closer to Manchester so you end the day with time to spare. The 3 villages you stop in have their own unique charm— Black Death history to hillside cathedrals… to rolling peaks with beautiful vistas. Clive was an engaging knowledgeable guide and with the van being limited to just over a dozen people makes it much more intimate and personal. Highly recommend.

Sunday in The Peak
Rob, our guide, gave a great overview of the history of the various stops along our trip. The scenery was beautiful and we were given plenty of time to wander on our own and check out the towns we visited. Well worth the time and money:)

Beautiful landscape
Beautiful area. We visited three small villages and a cave and also stopped at two viewing points. We had sufficient time at each stop to explore. The landscape was amazing. The guide, Rob, was very nice and gave us useful tips to visit each place on our own ( cave was guided), as well as some historical facts on the area.
