Step into the heart of Leros through the flavors of traditional Greek cooking. In a charming old house surrounded by trees and nature, you’ll join local hosts for a hands-on Moussaka workshop, preparing one of Greece’s most beloved dishes from scratch. From slicing eggplants and layering potatoes to preparing the rich minced meat sauce and creamy béchamel, every step is guided with care, stories, and local warmth. Your Moussaka is then baked in a traditional wood-fired oven, adding the deep, authentic flavor of Greek home cooking. When the meal is ready, gather around the big tree for a relaxed shared dinner with your homemade Moussaka, fresh Greek salad, tzatziki, local sides, dessert, and wine from Leros. More than a cooking class, this is an evening of food, laughter, stories, and island hospitality.

It would be a pleasure for us to share our knowledge, expertise and love for the bees that we come to develop over the years. Our guest will get an original and step by step experience of extracting Rhodes Honey. In detail, visitors coming to our workshop will be greeted with a cup of Greek coffee while we explain to them the activities we will do in the tour. They will have the option to taste test our fresh honey that we produce each period of the year. Guest will see how honey is extracted and the process from production to the hive in the jar, step by step. After the tour inside our workshop we will walk guests in the beautiful forest of Archipolis where our destination will be our apiary. While we get to the apiary, Areti will share information on beekeeping plants you see on they way there. The tour of the apiary will be seen from a safe distance, and the visitors will get to wear beekeeping suits.
