Questacon: the National Science and Technology Centre Tours and Tickets

Admission to Questacon costs AU$23 for adults, AU$17.50 for kids (aged 4–17) and concession-card holders (seniors and students), and is free for children 3 and under. Family passes for up to two adults and three kids cost AU$70. Questacon is also included on the Canberra Mega Pass—with the Australian Institute of Sport and the National Zoo and Aquarium—which can save you money if you’re visiting all three.

Questacon is open from 9am to 5pm daily, but it’s closed on Christmas Day (December 25). The Questacon Shop keeps the same hours. Timed-entry tickets can be purchased online—these provide a time of arrival, though you can stay for as long as you like before the museum closes for the day.
