Gwangbokdong Food Street

Busan
Gwangbokdong Food Street
  • Be sure to bring cash (ideally in smaller bills), as many vendors will not accept credit cards.
  • Don’t be afraid to enjoy your food like a local. Whether it’s devouring an over-the-top corndog or grilled mini octopus (jjukkumi) on the go or sitting down at one of the vendor’s many plastic stools to enjoy braised pig trotter (jokbal) or pipping hot spicy rice cakes (ddukbokki).
  • Take your time. Though the street can take less than 10 minutes to traverse (assuming the crowds aren’t too overwhelming), it’s worth spending time soaking in its culture and cuisine.
