Fantastic day touring the...
Fantastic day touring the city of Bangkok, including the flower markets, Grand palace and various temples, all of which was made exceptionally good because of the fantastic English speaking guide.

Great Guide Beautiful Palace
Our guide was great and the palace was absolutely stunning. However we weren’t happy that we had to go from Wat Pho to Hotel Royal because Viator wouldn’t meet us at the gate to the Grand Palace which is next to Wat Pho. Basically we had to take a ride share to China Town to get a ride back. Even our guide didn’t understand why we had to do that.

We had a great experience! The tour guide was very helpful in telling us the history of the Grand Palace, taking us around, and taking pictures.

Bangkok’s main sights in a day!
A great start to our tour of Thailand trip. Aey , our guide and her driver, negotiated the busy roads of Bangkok to take us to the Grand Palace, Wat Arun, Golden Buddha, Reclining Buddha, Emerald Buddha, flower market. Aey bought us fruits and treats to sample and we were take to a very popular cafe for a Thai lunch. An excellent start to our adventure!

Excellent tour of Bangkok with Kate
We took a full day private tour of Bangkok with Kate to visit the Grand Palace and several temples. Kate was an amazing tour guide, ushering us from site to site, giving us the most important information, and stopping to take us for lunch at a great local restaurant. I am 100% recommend this tour and Kate if you would like to see some of the most picturesque sites in Bangkok in a day in a efficient and well planned manner.

Grand Palace short tour
Although we were on the 08.30 tour it was a very hot day mid 30’s felt like 40 degrees. We only did the Palace tour of 2 hours and were very happy not to do more. The palace is extraordinary, one only touches the surface, but very happy that we did. Our guide Nikki was pleasant and informative. The textile museum was interesting and air conned.

Private Temple Tour
It’s very hot in April, so bring a fan and water. I’d recommend slip on shoes since you must remove shoes before entering the temples.
Our guide Bella was very knowledgeable about the sites and areas we passed along the way. She was very patient with our questions

Wonderful tour
The tour was great! It covered several key sites and our guide (Kwang) was very knowledgeable and kind. He was also a pro at taking pictures! To get around, we used the ferry, tuk tuks and, of course, there was a lot of walking! It was extremely hot and humid outside (April), but we did have opportunities to get drinking water and take breaks, although we would have liked more. It was quite an undertaking, so be prepared beforehand with a hat, fan and lots of sunscreen and water!

Thai royalty
Knowledgeable tour guide. Meeting point was easy to find and convenient. Activity is a great insight into the royal family history of Thailand.

When to visit

A strict dress code applies for entry: long pants or skirts, shirts with sleeves (no bare shoulders), and socks—even with sandals. If you come unprepared, a booth near the entrance may offer extra cover-ups with a deposit.
Most half-day Grand Palace tours couple a visit to the palace with other top activities like canal cruises or stops at the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, the Temple of the Reclining Buddha (Wat Pho), or Wat Arun.
The grounds feature a cafe and three restrooms.
You can buy Grand Palace tickets using a QR code at the palace or from an on-site office.
