There’s a lot to see in Alsace, so leave the itinerary to an expert with this private wine tour from Basel. Offering a half- or full-day trip with a personal touch, the experience is planned around you, but typically includes visits to a selection of family-owned wineries in the Alsace or Baden-Württemberg regions. You’ll learn about viticulture, have time for questions, and, of course, taste prestigious wine as you go.

Baden-Württemberg not only produces the finest Pinot Noir’s but also revels in other varietals such as Grauburgunder, Weißburgunder, Muskateller, Gutedel and Chardonnay. On this remarkable wine tour you will taste the phenomenal difference’s between both Burgundian and the Baden-Württemberg Pinot Noir clones. Our first winery will be with the regions outstanding producer of Pinot Noir. His Spätburgunder wines regularly out-perform those of Burgundy, Oregon and others from around the world. We will taste several varietals including, Weissburgunder, Gutedel, Grauburgunder, Chardonnay, Merlot and Syrah. Located in the heart of the Achkarren dwells one of the most renowned family wineries. This winery will furnish us with an insight into both traditional and contempory wine-making practices. Finally we will head back down through the Kaiserstuhl vineyards which pepper the graceful terraces of this majestic dormant volcano and to our final winery of the day.

Live an exceptional day aboard our small yacht with all comfort, music, up to 7 people max. No waiting, you will be welcomed as a VIP on our boat. Departure in the morning between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m., we will take a lock to leave the city and sail on the Rhine to go to Gambsheim or Offendorf to the port for lunch, swimming in the afternoon, paddle boarding, tanning, aperitif etc. ... We will spend the afternoon in a gravel pit where the water is clear and warm! Fauna and flora, birds, swans, wild geese, a magical moment. Return to Strasbourg at the end of the afternoon, then visit the city for 2 hours, with an aperitif and a platter of Italian charcuterie, Crémant d'Alsace, where you will have the opportunity to see the whole city! Crossing the lock, we will go to the heart of Petite France, the historic district of Strasbourg, Strasbourg Cathedral, the palaces, the European institutions... the day will end between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m.

A tour with a visit to the platform of the Strasbourg Cathedral is also possible for guests who are enthusiastic about sports - the entrance fee for this is not included in the price.

From 1870 to 1945, Alsace was a major war zone between France and Germany. This tour will explore the history of the Alsatians, first under German rule, then under French. We will discover remnants of these wars and visit Struthof (a concentration camp at 900 meters altitude), a Nazi German concentration camp. For a lighter touch, we will conclude the tour with a visit to one of the most beautiful panoramic views of Alsace and Christendom at Mont Sainte-Odile.
