At 10:00 AM, hotel pick-up by comfortable jeep or SUV. Drive to Huns Ethno Village takes about 1 hour. From 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM: cultural program including the traditional “Shashu” ceremony, baursak-making masterclass with tea, introduction to nomadic life, “Besikke Salu” ceremony, equestrian show, and photos with horses (short queues possible). Buffet lunch with traditional Kazakh dishes, followed by an archery masterclass. Then transfer to Issyk Lake (about 1 hour). Walk along the shore and optional light trekking. Return to Almaty (about 2 hours). Arrival at the hotel around 7:00 PM. All entrance fees and activities included — no hidden costs. Feel free to ask your guide to take photos. On this tour you will enjoy an authentic theatrical show program, which is an acquaintance with the customs and traditions of the Kazakh people in a specially created ethnographic village, located in a picturesque place at the foot of the Trans-Ili Alatau mountains. In the program, the guests will be acquainted with the life of nomads, with a national dwelling of Kazakhs - yurt, will enjoy master class on cooking Baursaks - a traditional flour product, cleaning and whipping wool, show with horses and horseback-riding. Then you will have a delicious lunch of the national Kazakh dishes. At the end of the program, you will be given an archery master class - the skill possessed by the nomadic Kazakhs. You will also be able to try your hand at horseback and take a short ride on one of the horses.

At 6:00 AM, a comfortable jeep/SUV will pick you up directly from your hotel, and we’ll head to Kolsai Lake. The drive takes about 4 h (approx 300 km). Along the way, you’ll see steppe landscapes, mountains, and authentic village life.We’ll spend a couple of hours at the lake. Lunch is optional at Tary, offering panoramic views over the water. Next, we’ll drive to Lake Kaindy (15 min by car). From the parking area, it’s an easy 15-min walk to the lake. If you prefer not to walk, you can ride a horse or take a UAZ vehicle (2000 tenge). After that, we continue to Charyn Canyon (100 km, 2.5 hours). We’ll arrive just in time for sunset. Enjoy golden hour views from above and take a ride in an improvised safari vehicle (1,800 tenge). The drive back to the city takes about 3 hours. You’ll be dropped off at your hotel around 8:00 PM. Optional extra costs: horse ride, UAZ transfer, restaurant, safari vehicle. Along the way, you’ll see rural villages, open степpe landscapes, and mountain views. Our first stop is the Singing Dune, which rises 150 meters high (about the height of a 50-story building). In dry weather, the dune produces a deep vibrating sound, similar to the hum of an organ or a jet engine. This rare natural phenomenon was studied by Soviet scientists. Next, we drive to the Aktau Mountains (about 2.5 hours). These mountains are the former bed of an ancient ocean, where you can still see fossils of prehistoric animals. We will stop for lunch in a nearby village. Your guide will be happy to take photos of you during the tour.
