Our tour programme is really unique, during one day guests visit 6 interesting, different locations in the canyons of Charyn River. In addition to walking inside the popular Castle Valley Canyon (Location # 1), we offer guests a visit to the observation deck, the view from the top of Castle Valley Canyon is a breathtaking view of the entire canyon (Location # 2). Next we visit Moon Canyon with a truly lunar, ethereal scale, the ground turns from a burgundy colour to a yellow hue (Location # 3). The next stop on the route is "Stone Shelf", a place with volcanic activity a million years ago (Location # 4). The "Napoleon" location includes an unforgettable view of the main canyon of the Charyn River and a huge amount of free space (Location # 5). Our tour is a full-fledged two-day trip with an overnight stay, which allows you to take your time and enjoy the beauty of Altyn-Emel at a leisurely pace. On the first day, we depart from Almaty and head to the village of Basshi. There, we will have lunch at a guesthouse, after which we will travel to the famous Singing Barhan. In the evening, we will return to the village, where we will have dinner and spend the night in the atmosphere of true Kazakh hospitality. The next day, after breakfast, we will head to the picturesque mountains of Aktau and Katutau, and also make a stop at the relict willow with a 700-year history. This is a rare opportunity to see all the main attractions of the park in two days, without rushing and with comfort. We invite you on a unique journey to the pearl of Almaty - the Great Almaty Lake, located at an altitude of 2,511 meters above sea level. We pick up all participants and deliver to the barrier, from where the hiking route begins. Ahead - about 4 hours of climbing to the lake and the same back. This is a real trekking for outdoor enthusiasts, so be prepared for the load. If you have heart or back problems, or if you have never tried long hikes, we do not recommend this tour. Children under 18 years of age are not allowed to participate in this tour. The weather in the mountains changes quickly, so safety is always a top priority. We will take care of you, but please prepare in advance so that your trip will be a memorable and enjoyable experience.

This special tour will cover the four most frequently visited places: Kolsai Lake, Charyn Canyon, Monn, and Black. If you haven't visited these places, you are not qualified to say that you have traveled to Almaty as a tourist.

First, we will visit Big Almaty Lake, which is about a 1.5-hour drive from Almaty City. On the way to the lake, you will observe the beautiful mountains, crowded pine trees, and landscape. Upon arriving at The Big Almaty Lake, you will wonder how it was formed as a Big Lake on the top of the mountain hundreds of years ago. Big Almaty Lake is a natural alpine reservoir. It is located in the Trans-Ili Alatau mountains, 15 km south of the center of Almaty in Kazakhstan. The lake is 2511 meters above sea level. During the exploration of the lake, everyone would easily notice the color of the lake change according to the intensity of sunlight from light blue to heavy dark. Next, our journey takes us to the Alma-Arasan Gorage. You will see a river that comes from the spring on the top of the mountain and be astonished by its pureness. We will hike along the river for around 1km. Then, we will discover the Ayusay Gurge. Finally, we are going to First President Park.

The lake sits at an altitude of 2,511 meters in the Tien Shan Mountains, offering breathtaking views. Its turquoise waters and the panoramic mountain scenery promise an unforgettable experience. Special bonus for our guests! After visiting the lake (optional), you can explore Ayusai Waterfall, visit the falconry farm, and enjoy a horseback ride with an instructor (optional, extra cost). 08:00 – Departure from Almaty A comfortable 4x4 vehicle will pick you up from your hotel. The drive to the Assy Plateau takes approximately 2.5–3 hours, depending on road conditions. Assy Plateau Located at an altitude of 2,500–3,000 meters above sea level, the plateau is known for its endless alpine meadows, panoramic views, and nomadic pastures. During the visit: 1. stops at scenic viewpoints 2. a walk across the plateau 3. photo stops 4. visit to the Assy-Turgen Observatory (outside view) 5. picnic or free time in nature (pick up own food) After exploring the plateau, transfer to Issyk Lake (about 1–1.5 hours). Issyk Lake A beautiful mountain lake in the Ile-Alatau National Park, surrounded by pine forests and rocky cliffs. During the visit: 1. walk along the shoreline 2. free time 3. optional light trekking 4. photo stops Return to Almaty takes about 1.5–2 hours. Estimated arrival in the city: 6:00–7:00 PM.

At 8:00 AM, a comfortable jeep or SUV will pick you up from your hotel for a 3-hour drive to Charyn Canyon, arriving around 10:30 AM. We’ll spend 2 hours exploring the Valley of Castles, admiring dramatic rock formations and taking stunning photos. Optionally, for 1,800 KZT, enjoy a safari vehicle ride along the canyon for a unique perspective. Next, we’ll drive 30 minutes to Bartogay Reservoir, spending about 1 hour among its otherworldly landscapes: mirror-like waters reflecting the sky and rugged hills creating a surreal atmosphere — perfect for unforgettable photos. Afterwards, we’ll return to Almaty, a 3.5-hour drive, arriving at your hotel around 5:30–6:00 PM. Don’t hesitate to ask your guide for photos — we’ll gladly capture your best memories from this incredible day!

At 10:00 AM, hotel pick-up by comfortable jeep or SUV. Drive to Huns Ethno Village takes about 1 hour. From 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM: cultural program including the traditional “Shashu” ceremony, baursak-making masterclass with tea, introduction to nomadic life, “Besikke Salu” ceremony, equestrian show, and photos with horses (short queues possible). Buffet lunch with traditional Kazakh dishes, followed by an archery masterclass. Then transfer to Issyk Lake (about 1 hour). Walk along the shore and optional light trekking.
