Nassor was great. So knowledgeable and great English. Learned a lot about the history of the island and answered all our cultural questions too. Really enjoyed!
Response from Host, Feb 2026
Thanks,I really appreciate it.

Definitely the worst tour I’ve ever been on.
Guide was 20 minutes late, no apology or explanation. Bought juice for himself but not water for me which was supposed to be included.
English was very poor, very very little talk he spent all his time on his phone. Learned nothing. Very depressing tour
Response from Host, Dec 2025
Definitely, this is his jealous, and i apologozed him firstly, because the transport which I took ,it was getting problem, about an English, he is Canadian, and this is his language, because he hated me ,even if I speak it as much as I can ,he can't proud me well, This is not first time to work with the british tourists. Thank you for your review.

The tour was okay. Pick up was on time. Seif wasn't feeling well so we had another lady take us on the tour.
We had a young man with us to get some spices off trees. At the end of the tour, we get to try different fruit but at the same time, the young man who was with us had made like bags, crowns and wrists bands using leaves. Then the tour guide said that these helpers don't get paid and it would be good to tip them. I didn't really like that as if they work on the farm, neither the farm nor the tour company is paying these young men? That seems highly exploitive and it puts you as the guest on the spot to tip them.
Overall, the trip was ok but I wouldn't recommend it to be honest.
Response from Host, Oct 2024
Thank you for this review, but it is not important to tip them sure, and we don't force any one to do that.
God bless you at all.

Overall a fantastic experience with a friendly and engaging guide. Fascinating learning about the spices. They also let me have a go at the traditional coconut tree climbing which was very fun. Only reason it’s 4 stars and not 5 is the amount of times tips are requested/ buying encouraged (3 tip requests, 2 buying opportunities for me) was a bit much for my liking. If I did it again I would still tip just slightly less to each of them as I didn’t realise how many times they would ask.
Response from Host, Oct 2024
Thank you for a review, but is not important to give them a tip sure.

It was nice to visit a small spice farm. Our guide was informative and a lot of fun and offered door to door service from Pingwe for an extra charge.
Response from Host, Sep 2024
Thank you for a review, but was not small farm ,and we charge you extra because you were out of stone town.
Amani_M, Sep 2024

The spicy tour was great, but I would choose other operator next time if I were there again. The time of the tour was 9:00am as stated on Viator, but the tour guide contacted me said it started at 9:30am. It was not a big issue though.
Response from Host, Sep 2024
First, thank you for your review, secondly, the price who you paid it ,I did not get any profit, and as you knew it,you could not say this ,I just put it so as to get a review.
All in all,you were picked up for free and you claimed because we added 30 minutes .
Asante sana.

Our guide arranged for us to be picked up at our hotel. He was very knowledgeable both about the conventional uses of the various spices and about local uses. He could review the English words for a couple of the spices we saw, but it didn't detract from the overall experience.
Response from Host, Aug 2024
Thank you for a review,God bless you.

We travel the World. An Always rely on Viator... Why ? Totally trustworthy, no F;ly By Night Operators, fair prices and honest reviews,
After much review we chose this Tour,, Reviews were almost unanimous.. The operator, Seifi received exce3llent Reviews.
And he lived up to his well deserved reputation. Friendly, exceedingly knowledgeable ,,,
Took Special care of me in my walker.
And as an unexpected bonus, gave us a short tour of Stonetown on return..
A Steal at this price,,, (Of course, we tipped ).

Seif organized the Spice Tour very well, messaging me in advance and picking me up on time. He arranged for a woman guide to meet me at the Spice Farm, and Souda, one of my favorite guides on this trip, provided a lot of insights about the spices and ensured I had a great time throughout.
I highly recommend this tour!
Response from Host, Sep 2023
Thank you very much for fantastic a review,we hope that other can organize with us

Smelling or tasting the various spices was fun! Our guide engaged us in discussion and knowledge of spices. Our tasting of fruits helped us understand the wide variety of fruit grown locally.
Response from Host, Jul 2023
Thank you for a review
