First of all, this tour is a -Guided city tour ending in a wine bar where you get some apeticer+deser and wine tasting.
When we started the tour I directly realised that it was not what I purchased, I called the agency and they told me it is the right tour and this is how they do the gourmet tour. We had no food tasting, just starters (no gourmet at all), I got told that we got more than usually and bigger quantity because we complained that it was not is written in the website.
We were just scammed

Excellent tour guide and very welcoming owner at the Wine Club. However, the tour was NOT as advertised. We received far less than advertised.

That's an exquisite location, setting and sommelier. This is one of the highlights as a tour of Varna with impeccable rating and thousands of happy customers. You are the first 2 people to mention something like that since the initial start of this tour 5 years ago.
An interesting fact is that the other 2 people that you had the wine tasting and food pairing with are extremely satisfied. They were on the same tour like you but they first took the wine tasting and the food and after that the walking tour itself with the same guide who was with you. Whereas you were vice versa - first the tour and then the wine tasting with the food.
We always go the extra mile for all our customers and this was no exception for you too. We show Varna at its best with the wine and the traditional appetizers on our tour.

We took the self-guided tour. We were really confused when we received the E-guide. To our opinion it was a guide downloaded from google. We also missed a small map which guided us to the diffrent points in the city. We had to create our own little map on the GPS to navigate us. A small map would be helpfull.
The Six stops of food are also not present anymore. Due to Corona a lot of shops closed but this needed to be stated on the itinerary. We received all the food at our local winery but we were confused that the e-guide did not gave us this info. I Had to call to get this info. The person on the phone was very friendly and helpfull
The location of our vineyard with the local sommelie was excellent. Good food, good wine and really fun and interesting.
Overal a good experience but as stated confused in the beginning of the self guided tour due to lack of info

Thanks for your review of this truly unique tour in Varna. There are several files that you receive and the map of Varna with all the attractions which you can follow. What you point out is a good idea - we already upgraded the map to be used with GPS and to lead you through the different points of interest!
We deleted the stops and already make the full tasting of food and wine at an exclusive spot like no other with our top sommelier speaking French, Bulgarian and English.
We took your points and the self-guided option is truly fantastic already with your help!
