This excellent 2-days tour might have not happened to me since the operator Jupiter Legend Corporation has informed me few days before the start that I was alone to book it so far and has proposed a 1-day tour to Victoria with a discount. But upon my explanation that I had no hotel to stay for that night, the operator, taking seriously safety concerns, has promptly found a solution and my 2-days tour has began!
And it was very pleasant from very beginning to the end. Our professional and reliable guide and driver Daniel has brought us first to the ferry to Vancouver island (near Delta), the ferry voyage amongst multiple small islands was spectacular; then to Butchart gardens and finally in Victoria.
Despite the unfavorable weather forecast, we were lucky to have a warm, sunny two days and Butchart gardens were amazing - the most magnificent garden, I've seen in my life. I was especially amazed by the ... fountain, could pass hours looking how it changes forms.
Victoria is a nice coastal town with 19-th century style buildings, Chinese quarter and the harbor, from where water planes take people to the sightseeing flights.
Our guide was well organized and we have seen a lot of beautiful things in 1-st day, I just wish I had more time in But chart gardens to see Javanese garden.
Hotel was very functional and accommodating, room windows given to a quiet green/yellow bicycle route.
Breakfast was available in a place called 'All day breakfast' his across the road.
In the 2-nd day we have visited exterior of a Victorian style castle and its garden, where Daniel has accompanied us and proposed to make our photos. Then we headed to a Skywalk tower, which was optional, but absolutely worth to see the views from its top and nice walk to it and back on the suspended bridges.
Our guide managed to satisfy demands of all participants despite of their different interests.
We came back to Vancouver by other ferry which brought us to Horseshoe harbor north of the city.
