    Decent experience. Things to highlight: - our transportation to Ha Long bay from Hanoi was on an older bus with people travelling to all different cruises. The bus was 45 minutes late to pick us up. - staff on boat were great. Everything layed out and they were very attentive. - boat itself (Le Journey) is a bit older and the room is nothing special, but it gives to the push to spend more time on the deck viewing the nature. - the food was not the best, but it seemed like they tried. Meals took exceptionally long to be served as there was many courses, and during breakfast/brunch alot of food items ran out. If you’re budget traveling solely to see the beauty of ha long bay (and dont care about quality of accomodations/travel) than choose this. But if you’re looking for quality from the moment you leave Hanoi, I strongly reccomend spending a bit more to get a nicer overall expereince.
