Ellis is a native of the island and knows his way around. He is very knowledgeable and kind. We felt very safe with him and he was super helpful even beyond this excursion.
This excursion ended up being more like 5 hours - there was no rush. But don't plan anything right after this excursion. We visited the hummingbirds and saw sooo many (if you are prone to mosquito bites, bring bug spray) and then we had a great hike through the forest. Ellis was able to point our things we would have missed. Then we had lunch at a local place by the beach. He was so kind to bring us drinks afterward because he felt bad that he didn't have enough of the kind my kids liked. If you are going to Tobago, Ellis should be your friend.
