Edith was a wonderful guide! She picked us up promptly from our hotel, allowed for plenty of time to visit the shops and get ice cream before heading out on the boat! She gave us lots of history about the island and was very knowledgeable about the reefs and marine life. We loved how personable she was, it felt like we were spending the day with a good friend! Not only did she give us recommendations of things to do and places to eat, she took time to mark them on a map for us. Lastly, she went out of her way, just because we mentioned we thought we might need more TT for the rest of our stay, to take us by a bank on the way back to the hotel.
10/10 experience! Book with Edith, you won’t regret it!

We were picked up by the lovely Edith from cruise port and then picked up another passenger at a resort and made way to beautiful Pigeon Point Beach. Edith kept us well informed. Because the boat operator was running behind we killed about an hour at Pigeon Point. I guess it was bonus time to watch wind & foil surfers. The sights were stunning!
Once we boarded “Reef Boss” captained by Ron, we quickly moved to the reefs. Lots of corals and fish. These corals were not colorful unfortunately, their white tops indicate they are stressed due to changing environment. We did see a large string ray while snorkeling. That day the currents were really strongly and you could easily float to Trinidad! LOL, just be aware. Our Edith kept a close watch on all her people and for that deserves 5 stars. Afterwards we went to the Nylon Pool and got to see some small green turtles, and once anchored it was at that point it felt like we were now on a Rum Runner excursion. No drinks served but you can purchase from a little dingy boat in the area. Afterwards we went to “No-man’s land” where there were food & drink vendors (who were operated by friends of friends?).
I gave a 4 star for a couple reasons:
1. Description of tour and what we did was a bit off.
2. Lots of “dead time” waiting.
3. This excursion felt like a co-op of sorts - whose running the show, who do we tip?!

Edith who arranged the trip went above her duty in making our experience so enjoyable. We didn't expect the amazing sights of coral, tortoises, baby shark and stingray and beautiful fish, albeit the current was strong so had to hold onto a rope to ensure safety.
Edith came with us and ensured we enjoyed all that the trip offered. We stopped at the Nylon (a sandbank) where we exfoliated ourselves with the sand on the bottom of the sea, which they say is good for your skin. Last stop was at no man's beach where you can buy food and drink sold by the locals. Even our driver Dennis gave us a short tour of Tobago, which wasent included in the price. Excellent trip for the price however don't expect the glass boat to be luxurious (none of them are) but it did the job.

This excursion was overpriced by double. You can get the same excursion on the beach in Tobago for 150 TT. They told us to get there at 10 but the boat didn’t leave till 1130. The crew members themselves were friendly. It’s just the boat didn’t come with any amenities like water, music, etc. if I had paid half of the amount that I did, I would give a different rating.!

Edith was our guide for the tour. She took us to Pigeon Point where we had about an hour to explore. She provided us with advice where to shop and what to try. Prior to boarding the boat she also briefed us on what the tour would include. During the cruise she was a wealth of information about the coral and fish on the reef and at every stop information was provided to enhance our experience. The glass bottom boat allowed us to view the reef with ease and stops included snorkelling to see the fish and corals, nylon pool, and no man’s land where you could purchase local food. She was also aware we were doing another tour with a different company the next day and was more than willing to provide information which assisted us to ensure our safety and comfort on a that tour. Yes the information provided allowed us to update that tour company which greatly improved our experience with them.

Amazing experience on the sugar lips tour. Wish they could clean the glass better at the bottom of the goat so you can see the fish easier, but the entire experience from snorkeling (on top of the water and just looking down to see the reef, life jackets provided), to swimming and jet skiing for extra pay in the Nylon pool, to getting food at No Man’s Land was amazing. Wish the trip could have been longer. Will come again!

First off, our guide, Edith, was outstanding! She is fun and charismatic and had all kinds of tips for us - she treated us like royalty - I believe we have a new friend in Tobago!
Our boat captain, Michael,, was so much fun! We even tried snorkeling for the first time - it was a bit of a challenge as the water was a bit busy but we did it and are anxious to give it a go again.

Edith was Great! Roger was our driver and he was on time and did a good job getting us to the beach and back to the ship.
The weather was great and we enjoyed the snorkeling and the nylon pool!
We stopped at “No Mans Land” and had wonderful local cuisine.
Would ask for Edith every excursion!

Great trip to Buccoo Reef and Nylon Pool. Snorkeling at the reef was definitely for experienced swimmers as there were large waves and strong current. The reef is beautiful and the view from the boat was amazing. Nylon pool was so relaxing. A bit of confusion with our ride back to the ship, trouble finding our driver so we taxied back to the ship.

The messaged 15 mins before the pickup time to change it to 2 hours later. Saying that they had to change it to accommodate people from the cruise ship that was in. We did receive authorization for a refund but it would take 3-7 business days to get it.

What a horrendous experience! I have contacted viator however I have not received communication back. Our group was left at the beach for an hour with no contact. By the time we were able to track down “shugi”, he was as high as a kite and claimed he had been looking for us. That was a lie as we walked the entire perimeter of the small area where the boats go out. We wer put on a boat that was clearly not the one we booked and it was overcrowded. There were only a few life vests so safety concerns. With that many people there was not enough room to see the glass bottom area. They completely skipped the snorkeling area and it was obvious they did not have equipment for snorkeling. The only good part of the trip was the driver that day. I am going to Europe for a two week and was considering viator however the fact that no one has gotten back to me is concerning. I will update this review if I hear from the

Edith was an excellent guide. Time for snorcheling was too short compared to bathing in Nylon Pool. There are many things to see at the reef.

This tour was just ok. The driver picked us up on time but then you had to wait an hour and 15 minutes once we got to the beach before it started. The pickup time needs to be adjusted to 10:30. Also the snorkeling was NOT good. The water was extremely choppy and you didn’t really see any colorful fish. My son and I may have lasted less than 10 minutes before returning to the boat due to the water. And we snorkel all the time in multiple countries. Lastly our driver for the return was a no show!! We waited 30 minutes and he never came so I had to pay for a taxi, turn on my phone to use google maps and incurred roaming charges unexpectedly in order to use GPS so the taxi could find where to take us. Needless to say I’ve asked for a partial refund.

We were met promptly by Edith, outside of our hotel. From the offset, she was warm, friendly, and patient. She ensured we knew the order of events for the day and that we had everything needed to make for an enjoyable trip.
Edith was very knowledgeable and passionate about the island of Tobago and this passion was contagious.
The boat ride was enjoyable, albeit we did not see many fish, but alas, you cannot control nature. The Nylon Pool was glorious and No Mans Land was great, with some very tasty, local food
We had a great time on the day and would highly recommend Island Experience, especially Edith!

This was a fun excursion. We received the experience as described, however, the start was very much confusing. To begin, we were picked up from our hotel on time. However, the driver was filling in for a friend, and wasn't sure where exactly to drop us off once we arrived in Pigeon Point park. When my family & I got out of the car, we were met by other excursion vendors trying to sell us the same experience we've already purchased. Finally, one individual seemed to know what was going on, and told us to hang out on one area of the beach for 1.5 hours, which is when the boat is scheduled to depart. About 30 minutes later, another individual told us to go to the opposite side of the beach and wait for the boat on that side. Needless to say, my family and I were confused and didn't know who was actually on charge. Thankfully, the first guy (Maurice) found me wondering around trying to figure where to go, and he directed me & my family to the correct location to meet up. Once on the boat, the activities were fun! The captain & his mate made sure we had a good time and was safe. The snorkeling was fantastic! Saw a lot of beautiful fish near the buccoo reef. We went to Nylon's Pool which was nice. Had a delicious BBQ lunch at No Man's Island - lunch was an additional cost & totally worth it!! Beer & rum punch was also included, which made it more fun. The waters in Tobago are so inviting, and the team made sure we felt welcomed. Despite the rocky start in the morning, my family & I had a great time!

It was a great tour, very respectable/entertaining young crew who was our tour guide/s, Jet skis was involved, got great photos of the underwater from the glass bottom boat, will definitely come back again
