We had to rearrange our airport transfer due to cancelled flights from New York, it was changed twice and I e-mailed Viator, and they told me to get in touch with the actual tour group. We were very pleased by the service we received. After a long flight we were delighted to see our driver holding our name sign and he took us to our hotel in Jerusalem...

Pro: we got there, the van was comfortable
Con: everything else.
Arrived in TLV, no driver to be found - later insisted he'd been there, but not true (we had walked around for 20 mins, asked all other drivers there with name cards). Communications with company took some work. Driver himself was... sometimes aggressive, sometimes out to lunch. Driving cultures of the world vary, to be sure, but this one was being yelled at by locals. Probably best to go with another company

problem was not with viator but, with the transfer company. flight delay caused a no pickup even after informing company of delay 15 hours in advance.

We were scheduled for pick up at Tele Aviv airport on 1/8/2020. When we arrived, there was no driver to pick us up. I called Viator and they said our transport was canceled. It had bed scheduled for 1/7 and changed to 1/8. Changes confirmed in emails by Viator.
Following the above conversation, I received a call from a Viator “driver” who was looking for thus at the airport. I called Viator to clarify and was told they would investigate and call back. Viator did call back and said our transport was canceled. We used a cab to get to hotel. What a mess - and we prepaid for service - and told our prepay was non-refundable.

Our private shuttle from the Tel Aviv airport to Jerusalem stood us up. After waiting 2 hours and after a half dozen calls to the provider (Ben Harim Ltd) we informed Ben Harim Ltd that we would be calling Viator for remedial action. Only at this point did Ben Harim Ltd contract with a taxi to cover for their no show driver.

I followed the directions in the email for where to meet the driver, but I did not see him. I called him and he came over from where he was waiting somewhere else. After that, things went more smoothly. The driver was friendly and polite.

The car fine, with a good driver. However, since there were long lines to process in-coming passengers for visas, it was more than an hour after my flight arrived before I got through Immigration and received an entry permit. The driver complained, several times, that he never had to wait so long for any passenger - as if it was my fault it took so long to gain entry to Israel.
The ride from Tel Aviv to my airport in Jerusalem was uneventful. The driver was professional and not too aggressive.
I must say, for my return to Tel Aviv from Jerusalem, I was able to hire a private taxi - a nice Mercedes - from my hotel to Ben Gurion airport for about half of what it cost through Viator.

While I appreciate booking a car in advance for this transfer and would generally understand a premium, the price paid was nearly DOUBLE the rate of simply taking a taxi - which is what we were put in by the driver we met at the Arrivals Hall!!!!!. As I rode from Ben Gurion to Jerusalem after a 10.5 hour flight in a TAXI, I felt very stupid, taken, and ripped-off beyond compare. Just take a cab!

This was a bad joke. A taxi from Ben Gurion to Jerusalem costs about 300 NIS 60 USD for a full car. All you do is walk out of the terminal and go to the taxi stand.
This service at 68 PER PERSON for 2 people is a joke. It is just the driver from a normal taxi holding your name on a sign in the arrivals hall. You follow him to his taxi, load your own luggage, and pay double for the ride. The only benefit was that he stopped at a falaffel stand on the side of the road because we were hungry after our long flight.

Driver was on time and friendly. English was sufficient for all interactions. I thought he was a bit reckless while driving but after a week in Israel I realized it's how everyone drives, so it wasn't just him. Price for one passenger not competitive with booking with hotel so will not use again.

I am sorry I can't rate this higher. We waited for the driver at the appointed place after getting through customs and baggage, but unfortunately he had left before we were able to get to the meeting area. We waited some hours before being able to contact them as our phone wasn't working. Our plane had arrived a bit late in the morning and the driver said he waited longer than normal but had to leave. We thought more time was taken into account upon landing. Went by shuttle bus to Jerusalem and that was fine.

We did expect to pay $138 for a taxi service if I may even call a service -myself and wife had to
pull our own carts to the car and the driver looks more like a freelance student and bcos of his
rough handling of one of the bags 2 bottled of MOET we bought in SIN were broken and spilled all the clothes and dresses of my wife - she is most irate and had to send them all the laundry with nothing new to wear that evening. We will absolutely not recommend yur service to all our clients and friends. We felt short changed and cheated.
