Everything was organized efficiently. All the drivers knew where to go and the guides were all good. Murodjon, Ulugbek, Mari, Laziz where all really good guides.

Highly recommend- best tour I’ve ever done!

LISA_S, Nov 2025
I absolutely LOVED this tour — I cannot recommend it enough, and I would give it 10 stars if I could! The entire itinerary was very well put together, and I was able to see everything I wanted to see in Uzbekistan. Every city was amazing, and Samarkand was my absolute favorite — what a mesmerizing city. Everything ran so smoothly — all my tour guides (and even flights and trains!!) were incredibly punctual, and knowledgeable and friendly too. And all the hotels booked were perfect — very conveniently located in the heart of the city, clean and comfortable. Amir and team organized every detail flawlessly, and it was so helpful to have someone who knows the country organize everything for you (it ends up being around the same cost if you try to do it yourself anyway, so it’s totally worth it to just let the professionals handle it). Also, I’ll mention that I had some visa issues right before my trip (completely my fault), and Amir went above and beyond to help me out the night before my flight/tour. I was so grateful for his help and that I was able to make it to Uzbekistan because this tour is an experience of a lifetime! Highly, highly recommend!!

Wonderful discovery

Naziha_T, May 2025
We had the best experience ever, Uzbakistan its a wonderful country. People are very polite and welcoming, very safe place to be. I travelled with my 16 years old daughter and we never felt uncomfortable. The tour is great but we wished if we stayed 2 nights in Bokhara. Guides all of them were great especially Mister Nusrat we had tour in Tashkent with him wonderful experiences. The only things we didn't like is when we travelled from Samarkand to Tashkent. We spent more than 5 hours in a regular train and the seats wasn't confortable at all. I had a back problem and I really wasn't in a good shape the next day. For the price I payed I wish we travelled in first class in the bullet train. I payed extra money to travel better which is normally include in he price..

Response from Host, Jun 2025

Dear Naziha Thx for your kind review, we r very glad that you enjoyed the trip & we are very sorry about the regular train experience Samarkand-Tashkent. Fast train tickets are open for sales 60 days prior to departure and they only last few days before they are sold out, we always try our best to secure last minute tickets in vent of cancelation and we are successful 90% of time. We thank you again for visiting Uzbekistan and of being able to serve you.

It was such a great trip!...

Kristina_B, Apr 2025
It was such a great trip! I brought my 17-year-old daughter and we both loved it! It was a lot of travel in between cities, but taking the train was actually quite fun. The cities were beautiful and our guides were all so knowledgeable and excited to share the history of their country with us.

Response from Host, Apr 2025

Dear Kristina, Thank you so much for your lovely message! We’re so happy to hear that you and your daughter enjoyed the trip and had a great time exploring Uzbekistan. It’s wonderful to know you had fun on the trains and with our guides. We hope you’ll come back one day to discover even more! Best wishes, Silk Tour Family

Seamless Last-Minute Tour: Expert Guides, Smooth City Transfers, and Stress-Free Travel Across Multiple Destinations

Roza_R, Apr 2025
We booked this tour very last minute (2 days before arriving!) and honestly wasn’t sure what to expect - but it turned out to be a fantastic experience! From the moment the booking was made, everything was well-organised by Mr. Amir, to whom I am very grateful for all his communication, professionalism and assistance. The itinerary was thoughtfully planned, with just the right balance of sightseeing, interesting facts, and time to explore independently. We got to see some real highlights, and even a few hidden gems I wouldn’t have discovered on my own. All of our English-speaking guides were great - shout out to Mr. Nusrat (Tashkent), Ulugbek (Khiva), Bekhruz (Bukhara) and Khushvakt (Samarkand). Because the group was small, it was easy to connect with the guides and enjoy a more personalised experience. What impressed me most was how smoothly everything ran, even though I booked at the very last minute. Communication was clear, the transportation was comfortable, and the whole vibe was relaxed and enjoyable. On top of that, all of the local people and communities were very warm and friendly, which made us really appreciate Uzbekistan. :) If you're thinking about booking this tour but aren’t sure, I say go for it! All the 5* reviews are proof enough. I would definitely recommend this tour and wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again. Note: The only con that comes to mind which was totally out of the tour company's control, was the train tickets and times. Because we had booked last minute (as I have emphasised many times now, haha), all the high-speed trains were unavailable. If you know of your travel plans earlier, book this tour ASAP so you don't miss out on the faster trains. Special thanks again to Mr. Amir and the team. It was a pleasure.

Dear Roza, Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We are very happy to hear you had a great time in Uzbekistan, even with such short notice! Mr. Amir and all our team are very grateful for your kind words. It means a lot to us that you enjoyed the tours, the guides, and the overall experience. We’re so glad everything went smoothly and that you felt the warm spirit of our country. We would love to welcome you back again anytime! Warm wishes, Silk Tour Family

Umid was great as a tour coordinator. Everything was seamless. I also liked that my tour guides were from different generations. I got diverese POVs. All of them, as well as the drivers, were very nice. They reminded me so much of my people. I felt home.

An unforgettable trip throughout the history, culture, and traditions of the Silk Road. Loved it!

Irina_Y, Oct 2024
We had the most amazing 6-day private tour along the Silk Road skillfully arranged by Amir and his team. Every detail (guides, drivers, hotels, train and air tickets, as well as entry tickets to all the attractions were carefully arranged and modified as required). Easy communication and itinerary, seamless support from drivers and English-speaking tour guides (we particularly enjoyed Tulkin, our professional tour guide in Khiva who has BA in history and is a history buff). Daily check ins with Amir made our travel throughout the country worry-free and relaxing so we could focus on history, traditions, culture, smells and tastes of the region. An unforgettable trip!

An excellent week in Uzbekistan

Harry_J, Sep 2024
I would highly recommend this tour. I was visiting from the UK. I was solo for this part of the trip. I think Uzbekistan would have been quite hard to navigate as a foreigner who cannot speak russian or Uzbek. Everything was organised for me which made the trip very easy. Having English speaking local guides, and drivers with comfortable air conditioned cars was really beneficial. I felt like I saw the best attractions and got a real taste of Uzbekistan. There was enough free time to explore on my own in the evenings. Amir was able to provide incredible support when I needed him over WhatsApp. All the hotels were clean and comfortable. The individual guides in each location were really kind and knowledgeable. Local people I met were also really warm and welcoming. One day I hope to return to Uzbekistan with friends and family, and if I do I will be using this company again.

A fairy-tale 6 days journey through the Silk Road

Sagar_P, Sep 2024
This turned out to be incredibly brilliant holiday for us, experiencing the charms, warmth, culture and history of Uzbekistan and its gems Khiva, Bukhara, Samarkand and Tashkent. Khiva and Bukhara are very beautiful small fortified cities with an old world charm reminding of the days when caravans converged on them on the Silk Route. Samarkand is slightly larger and spread out, but its monument no less beautiful (don't miss the Registan light and sound show in the evenings). Tashkent also has its spots, but in essence is a large city. I found the trip through Viator and soon discovered the company Sogada Tours behind. My go-to-person was Amir and he was superb with all the information before the booking, and prepared a detailed itinerary plan which left no questions to ask. He was constantly available for any queries or any requests from our end. He organized the hotels which were pretty decent, the tour guides, the train journeys, the drivers and it was all a seamless booking. The tour guides (Ulugbek in Khiva, Ms Maksad in Bukhara, Timur in Samarkand and Ms Kseniya in Tashkent) were very good, friendly and quite knowledgeable about their respective places. They all did a very good job in taking us through the history and marvels on our first visit to Uzbekistan. The drivers were always courteous and punctual. The people of UZ are very friendly, very proud of their heritage and very helpful. Did not see even minute traces of crime or disorder anywhere. The food is exotic and many of the local restaurants that we visited in the evening were full of music, dancing and general merriment All in all a great trip. A great country to visit. A few on the flipside - We got only half a day in Bukhara due to train schedules. It is certainly worth at least an overnight if not more. - A couple of trips (flight from Tashkent to Urgench/Khiva and train from Khiva to Bukhara) made us leave the hotel at 5:00 AM (not that the Tour operator had much flexibility given that it was a 6 day trip). On the positive side, all hotels provide packed breakfast boxes no matter how early you leave - We took an extra day in Tashkent extending the tour, and we did not do know what to do with it. But then discovered Magic City (a resort similar to Disneyland but smaller) which was quite a good way to unwind especially as the sun sets. The water splashing musical fountains were cool. - In Tashkent, the hotel Wyndham Gardens was ca. 20 min taxi ride from city center (but then taxis are dirt cheap in UZ - just download YandexGo)

We fell in love with Uzbekistan!

Amy_G, Jul 2024
My husband and I booked the 6-day tour along the Silk Road and absolutely loved it! The hotels, drivers, guides and logistics were all brilliant. Everyone was incredibly accommodating. I've already recommended this tour to all my friends. Thanks again for everything! Amy & Darren

Wonderful trip, a little expensive

JIZHAN_G, May 2024
The trip is good, whenever we were in airport or railway station, drivers were aready there and picked us up to our hotels. That helped us a lot for the trip. Four english guides were all very good to explain about the trip sites and we learnt a lot about the cultrue and history around the sights.

Response from Host, May 2024

Thank you sir for your nice comments but allow me to disagree with you regarding price since our price is lowest on the inetrenet.

Extraordinary tour experience

SitiNorain_Y, May 2024
The tour was very well organised, and the tour agency (Silk Tour Ltd) was very responsive and accomodated to our request to customize the tour to include a one night spent in a traditional yurt. And the tour agency also suggested that our driver make a few stops along the way to the remnants of the fortress of Alexander the Great and a caravonsaray. Recommended!

Response from Host, May 2024

Siti it was a pleasure to meet you at our hotel in Samarkand, we are glad that ou enjoyed your trip, we go out of our way to accomodate our guests wishes even last minute and try our best to advise them of little secret that enhances their experience.

Maath_A, Apr 2024

I booked this experience...

CarlaSofia_S, Sep 2025
I reserved this experience so I didn’t have to worry about anything at all. I received a detailed planning and this pleased me a lot, but in the course of the week there were some flaws, such as being 1 hour waiting for the guide because on my map was marked for 8h and the guide was marked for 9h only. However, what most disappointed me was the last day in Tashkent, where on my map there are places to visit that have been closed for more than a year as is the case of the Museum of History of Uzbekistan. It was replaced by another museum, but I would like to have been informed in time and that did not happen, I was only informed at the end of the tour and because I questioned. The same goes for the Hazrati Iman complex which was closed and continued to be mentioned in the planning. You should be careful with this information as they are the reason for a less positive rating of this tour.
