Had a private walking tour with Ali. We walked a lot! Ali was very pleasant and helpful and of course very knowledgeable about Tashkent and the history of Uzbekistan. After exploring independence Park we went to memorial Park then explored the metro system and ended at Chorsu bazaar. Ali explained the different quarters of the Bazaar then we headed to the Islamic Civilization centre and its collection of mosques, madrassas and libraries. Back to the Old City for a final walk. Fascinating tour of this very interesting city. Highly recommended. Bring your best walking shoes!

I joined a Tashkent city walking tour with Nuriddin as my guide, and it was a fantastic experience. From the start, he was polite and communicative — even letting me know he would be a few minutes late and updating me on his arrival.
The tour itself was well-paced and very informative. We explored many of Tashkent’s highlights, including Amir Timur Square, Broadway Alley, the Navoi Opera Theatre, Independence Square, the beautiful Tashkent Metro, the lively Chorsu Bazaar, and the Hazrati Imam Complex. At each stop, Nuriddin shared fascinating historical and cultural insights that made the sites come alive.
What I appreciated most was his friendliness and flexibility. He patiently answered questions, gave local tips, and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the walk. By the end, I had not only seen the main landmarks but also gained a deeper appreciation of Tashkent’s history and everyday life.

Ali was an awesome guide!! We totally enjoyed the walking tour of Tashkent.
Ali spoke excellent English and was extremely knowledgeable about the sites we saw. He was able to relate the historical monuments to the context what was happening in the region and the world at that time. He answered all of our questions and we had some fascinating conversations about the history and culture of the region and country.
We really appreciated his flexibility in tailoring the tour and narrative to our interests and questions.
At the end, Ali spent extra time to ensure we found our ride share driver and that we were set to get back to the hotel. He gave us recommendations for the rest of our trip, for both shopping and sites to see.
Ali came prepared with extra bottled water for us, as it was warm at the end of the walking tour.
We highly recommend booking a walking tour with Ali’s company.

I loved my 10 km walk with Abdunazar. He was relatable and patient. I was surprised by his almost perfct Spanish command. In a country were even local English speakers are rare… having my tour in Spanish was delightful. We spend a good afternoon wandering and looking at the main landmarks.
