⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Wonderful Day in Stornoway with Luke! Our day in Stornoway was made truly special thanks to our incredible guide, Luke. He greeted us impeccably dressed in traditional tweed, setting the perfect tone for our journey through the Hebrides. A true historian at heart, Luke brought the past to life as we explored the Calanais Standing Stones, sharing fascinating stories and insights that made the ancient site even more meaningful. We continued on to the Gearrannan Blackhouse Village, where Luke described the challenging lives of those who once called it home. Unfortunately, we had an unexpected encounter with the infamous Scottish midges—but Luke handled it with humor and professionalism, swiftly whisking us away to a beautiful beach where we could enjoy more of the island’s history and stunning countryside views. It was a day filled with learning, laughter, and breathtaking scenery. Luke’s knowledge, charm, and thoughtful attention to our comfort made the experience unforgettable. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide!

We were treated like family as we explored the Wonders of the Isle of Lewis with our guide Luke. From the wonder of the Callanish Standing Stones to the history of the Bosta (Bostadh) Iron Age House, the Gearrannan Blackhouse Village and Dun Carloway Broch, to the beauty of Bosta Beach and Stornoway, we saw the best of Lewis with an excellent guide! Luke is excellent. Our ship was delayed in docking for 3 hours and he just waited for us and extended his day to take us to tour around. He was so kind and reliable.

Luke was a wonderful guide. He is personable and full of knowledge. He even brought typical sweets and snacks for us to try. It would have taken two ship excursions to see what he showed us. Doing what only amounts to a snapshot of the area, it was great to have someone from the area to talk to as well. We recommend him highly.
