Itinerary

Meet directly at the Skilpadvlei Wine Estate in the morning to meet your guide and get outfitted with a bike and a helmet.

Follow your guide through the gorgeous Cape Winelands around Stellenbosch. Admire historic architecture and the charming town itself. Stop at two different wine estates in the area to sample some of South Africa's often overlooked wines.

Return to Stellenbosch at the end of the bike tour.

Please note: In addition to a bike and helmet, you'll also receive a bottle of water and a 'snack pack' of peanuts, chocolate, and raisins for the ride. Lunch is not included. Guests must be at least 16 years old.

Wonderful day with Kyle M on the half day wine tour. We biked for 14km and stopped at a brandy distillery and then at the winery too. The offerings were delicious! The bikes were in good order and e bikes were available to upgrade to for R450 pp. the countryside was beautiful and Kyle was amazing, so knowledgeable and friendly. We had the best day!

This tour ended up not being a good fit for us. It’s not really the fault of the company— everything was as described and it should have been a lovely experience. But they did not indicate how strenuous it would be or what level of riding ability you would need, so I assumed it would be “all levels” and it was not. I just wish I knew I had to request an e-bike in advance— I wrongly assumed I would be able to do that on-site. I would have been fine with an e-bike upgrade but I have not had experience with managing 2 sets of gears and this ride was beyond what I was capable of. Our guide was very kind and understanding.

Matinée riches en émotion et assez amusante. Il pleuvait au début donc nous avons axés l'activité sur des dégustations et nous avons fait du vélo quand la pluie s'est calmée. Nous avons adoré et l'accueil par l'équipe, les domaines étaient vraiment top.
