This tour was absolutely amazing , this was a real local food experience that had a lot of stops and delicious local food . Our guide Su Ling was absolutely amazing . Highly recommend booking this while you are in Singapore !

It was a very good tour. Su Ling was very friendly and knowledgeable about Singapore food and the areas we visited. She did a very good job of keeping us out of the son on a hot day. We really enjoyed all the food and made us appreciate the Singaporean food culture. I would recommend this tour.

Stephanie was a lovely guide. We were shown interesting and side streets. My teenage daughters enjoyed her recommendations for shopping and she had plenty of suggestions for places to eat. Would recommend for sure.

We really enjoyed our food tour with Richard. If you want to learn about Singapore’s history and try food from all the different cultures that come together in this beautiful country, this tour is definitely for you! We tried a variety of things we would’ve never tried or found without Richard’s help and also really enjoyed the company of the other guests that joined the tour. Overall a great experience that no foodie should miss.

Richard was an amazing tour guide. He not only took us to eat great food from many different cultures but also was extremely knowledgeable about the history of those cultures and Singapore. I learned so much on the tour and got to try so much food I would have not thought to try on my own. I highly recommend this tour of you want to try a lot of great food and are interested in the history of Singapore.

This food tour was a mixed bag. While we enjoyed learning more about the local culture and exploring several neighborhoods, for a food tour that cost about $150 per person, we did not feel the tour was anywhere near worth the money. We have done food tours regularly on our travels, and we always end up feeling like we’ve tried some of the top local dishes and come away feeling very full and satisfied with the food choices. Not so much on this tour. Few of the items had any protein and we were particularly surprised that chicken rice was not one of the foods tasted when it is such an iconic Singapore dish and we said at the beginning that we wanted to try it. Our guide Pam said we could just try that on our own, but two of the three people on the tour were in Singapore for a very brief visit and this would have been the time we would have expected to try this dish. My daughter and I ended up having to go elsewhere after the tour so that I could try the dish before I flew out that night. Another example that surprised me was the stop in Little India where we got two items that were very similar and were just vegetarian crepes essentially with some dips. If you just want a tour of some neighborhoods with food somewhat secondary, this tour might be fine for you. But if like me and my daughter you are expecting to try a wide selection of the best foods Singapore has to offer, I do not recommend it. You will definitely feel like you missed out on a full food experience.

I feel this tour is a must for anyone new to Singapore/and or its extremely diverse and expansive cuisine(s). Kwang, our guide, was very knowledgeable, and his passion for food and the city was infectious. We learned so much about food and history as we visited various neighborhoods and tried 8 different places, all with delicious food! The people at every place we visited were always delighted to see him. Kwang was also very attentive to our comfort (note that the climate is very hot and humid, and the experience involves quite a bit of walking outside) and made sure we knew how to get to where we needed to go next after the tour ended. I’m very glad I did this tour towards the beginning of my stay—it was a lovely introduction to the food and culture that allowed me to continue exploring with more knowledge and excitement for the remainder of my time in Singapore. If you happen to do the tour with Kwang, you’re in for a real treat!

I have done food tours all over the world, but his food tour was amazing! I kept telling the tour guide Pam - that I was so impressed with this tour. Because we visited so many neighborhoods in this tour, I felt that I got to see Singapore in ways I would not on my own. This tour is a must do in Singapore and Pam was so knowledgable and very dynamic.

Our guide, Kwang, was very knowledgeable and shared lots of information about the food culture and architectural styles in the city. But 6 hrs and 9 food stops was a very long day. We think fewer stops.. 4 good quality stops would be more than enough, and maybe just 3 hrs, would be more enjoyable. (11-2) Our entire group was in agreement with this assessment. Not the guides fault..he was terrific..it is what we signed up for. Maybe Viatour should reassess this tour?

There are other tour companies that offer much shorter tours and also tours that have less food included. This is a full day 6hrs tour of Singapore covering 4 different geographical districts and food from Chinese, Peranakan, Malaysian, Indonesian, Indian and foods that have been uniquely made in Singapore. The tour is designed that way on purpose in order to give people a complete breadth and depth of understanding about the food culture and food seen in Singapore and if there are any other people who are looking for something shorter and may be focussing on just one district or two districts, there are companies providing such tours and we do appreciate that our tour may be too long for some people and may include too much food for some. So thank you very much for taking the time to review.

We all know how the tour guide can make or break a tour and we were lucky enough to have Gee Soo as our guide. He was fabulous! So much info about Singapore was passed on to us. We tasted approx 18 foods and drink. All great examples of the 3 neighborhoods we visited on our 6 hour tour. ….highly recommend!

Our guide,Su Ling, made this Singapore food tour so much fun and educational. Su Ling really puts her heart and soul into this tour and kept it at a comfortable pace. The foods you will sample follow the historical influences of the many cultures that inspired this fairly young country. I was so full at the end of the tour. Bring good walking shoes.

This was a wonderful tour. Pam was an outstanding guide and the history and information was terrific. The food was excellent and she took us to local spots we would not have found as normal tourists. Highly recommend this tour to learn about Singapore and its foods.

This was certainly one of the biggest highlights of my trip to Singapore. The food tour took place in three different cultural areas, which was very interesting to see. The food was amazing and extremely filling. I highly recommend not to book a huge meal for the evening of the tour! Daryl was a fantastic host and highly knowledgable.

Absolutely enjoyed the tour! Having a small group of 8 made it more personal. Our tour guide Su Ling was amazing! She had a proper route planned & was very organized. We had about 8-9 food stops in the 6 hour tour & every dish was delicious. She took us to local places that we would definitely not have found by ourselves. Su also talked to us about the history of Singapore, the different cultures etc & kept the tour constantly interesting. We ate so much through the tour that we all were in a happy state of food coma after! Excellent tour in every aspect. Thanks to Su Ling!!
