This was a great tour. Pick up was efficient and well organised. Th tour itself was very interesting and sobering at the same time! Sadly, I can’t remember our guides name but he was great - friendly and certainly knew his subject.

The tour was knowledgeable but it took too long due to the lack of coaches firstly at the start waiting for another coach to arrive and at the end when there was only one coach available at the end and it took over thirty minutes for a coach to arrive to take us back to our hotels Our three and a half hour tour went for more than 5 hours

There is not a lot of walking but Kranji is on a hill and a few steps leading into it. Worth the journey. Our guide was informative but needs to provide more time to explore instead of talking. Most people on tour were older and it was a small group not sure why we needed a double decker, 80 seater bus. Climbing up and down stairs was tough for fit people. Tour would be better conducted in morning when cooler. Changi Chapel was excellent but because the bus was to big and could not get into the car park we had to cross a very busy road. Changi Beach was lovely but had a horrific past. The tour is a great reminder of the sacrifice and futility of war. Overall a good tour and well conducted it is a pity it is becoming less popular.

Transportation wise, sometimes we are only able to book whatever vehicle is available and because the supplier was very busy and most of their vehicles are fully booked and only able to provide us big coach. Otherwise we supposed to cancel the tour but since we already have confirmed bookings we have to go ahead and run the tour with the best available vehicle.

Singapore Battlefield tour is an excellent way to visit the Kranji Cemetery, the principal cemetery and memorial to allied forces in Singapore and Malaya and Changi prison, museum where thousands were imprisoned and Changi beach where thousands were shot. The tour was well organized, transportation was very comfortable and our guide very knowledgeable about the war and Singapore’s society today. For an in depth overview of the conduct to the defense of Singapore I recommend visiting the Former Ford Factory and Battlebox.

We thoroughly enjoyed this tour and our guide Tan is very knowledgeable. It was more than a war history tour. We learnt a lot about Singapore's military and saw areas that we would definitely have not found on our own. I think it's important to pass this history on to younger generations and hope that it is not lost. We highly recommend this tour.

It was a good tour, but a little bit long.
There was one glitch; we arrived at the pick up point and the bus to pick us up was not there. It turned out that because of heavy traffic the driver could not park but did arrive about 10 minutes late. When the driver was not there on time we telephoned the number given on the website and the person who answer asked why we were calling because they said they have nothing to do with the tour or Viator.

Incredibly fascinating and somber tour of what Singapore went through during the Japanese invasion and occupation. I stood over the grave of Sister Mavis Jones, a nurse, killed at 24 years. Poignant. As I’m a nurse.

Very interesting. Our guide Paul was very informative and went to great lengths to give us a feel of the history on the battles of Singapore. He explained the different areas of the soldiers graveyard and the meanings / writings on the headstones. It is a beautifully kept graveyard.

Our Guide was extremely knowledgeable in regard to the WWII events/effects on Singapore itself and the Allied Military personnel there and also caught up in the Occupation. His knowledge of the sites, especially the history of the Commonwealth War Cemetery was very special. The Museum is excellent and overall the Tour is highly recommended by us.

Our present is based upon what so many endured and did in the past. These, so young, so few, uphold a benchmark for us to aspire. Walking through the Kranji War Memorial is a moving experience upon which we should all reflect. A great tour guide provides a broad historical commentary honing it back into the local context. He will even assist you locate your family ancestor if they are known to rest here. Young people from many countries @ faiths from across the world rest here. The tour continues across the northern part of Singapore Island visiting WW2 historical locations providing photo opportunities. Mini-bus pick-up and return to hotel services are included. Every tourist to Singapore needs to experience this tour!

The instructions for this tour were very confusing. The tour was advertised to start at 1.30 pm but that turned out to be the hotel pick up time so the tour ended up finishing about 45 minutes later than we expected which we only found out on the day and messed up our dinner plans. The email confirmation told us the pick up time would be 8.30 am. I'm assuming that is text for a morning tour. I noted that other reviews have also pointed out these messy instructions and a number of times the tour operator has responded to say they'd look at fixing it but they haven't. The tour guide and the actual tour was very good but I wouldn't recommend this tour based on the organisation. It gets the tour off to a bad start and makes it hard for your guides.

First would like to apologize for any inconvenience caused. Our Battlefield tour pick up time is 1:30 pm and tour starts only at 2pm that is if everyone is on time. Since this tour is also located Eastern Part of Singapore at times may experience some slow down or traffic other than that it is usually a smooth ride. Will check on the 8:30 am timing which you mentioned as it is normally for morning tour pick up time.
