Overview

Ride a horse through the Turkish countryside on a trail ride, and explore a scenic landscape with an experienced guide. Enjoy from one or two hours of time on horseback, choosing between a route on the beach and a trail through the forest. What To Expect

Choose the departure time that suits your schedule, then meet a driver at your hotel for transfer to the horse club. Upon arrival at the trail riding base, you’ll get a short briefing that covers the basics of riding safety and technique.

Meet your horse for the day, then saddle up and follow the guides on a trail into the countryside. Soak up the peaceful atmosphere of the pine forests, and take a break by a river before turning back towards the horse club. If you select the beach option, make your way towards the water’s edge, where you’ll ride through the sand with views along the coast.

After one or two hours on the trail, depending on the option you’ve selected, you’ll arrive back at the starting point and say goodbye to your horse. This horse ride concludes with return transfer to Side, and drop-off at your hotel.

The worst excursion EVER!

It is a scam. I understand it is a third world country, but even for those standards this was trash. They seem legit when they contact you through WhatsApp, but even that is shady. They cannot go into the hotel so they asks us to wait outside, and somehow they still wanted my room number. The owner picked us up in a car so old we thought and dilapidated we thought were getting kidnapped. We got to the place and it was even worse than the car ride, it was a dirt shack like a scene of a horror movie. It was not a beach horse ridding experience as falsely; we trekked like 20 minutes through a forest and down dirty roads to the beach where we stayed for like only 10 minutes. The owner brought a “photographer” who doesn’t really know how to take photos and at the end of the excursion they showed us like 50 poorly taken photos. When we told them “no” the “owner” got pretty upset telling us “you come, you ride and you don’t want to buy pictures?”. Mind you that they wanted to sell us the digital poorly taken photos for $100. This is the second Viator excursion we’ve taken and the disappointment continues. This is a SCAM! Beware and stay away!!!

This horse riding experience is operated by a licensed local ranch, and hotel pick-up arrangements are handled according to hotel security policies. In many hotels, external vehicles are not permitted to enter the premises, which is why guests are sometimes asked to wait at the designated pickup point outside the hotel. Requesting a room number is a standard procedure used solely for pickup coordination. The transfer vehicle and ranch facilities are rural by nature, as this activity takes place in a countryside environment close to nature. While we understand that this setting may not appeal to everyone, it is not intended to resemble a resort-style facility, and this is consistent with the experience description. Regarding the route, the ride includes a forest and trail section before reaching the beach, followed by a limited riding time along the shoreline due to local regulations and safety rules. It is not possible to ride horses for extended periods directly on the beach, and we regret if this was not clearly understood in advance. Photo services are offered optionally by independent photographers working at the ranch. Guests are under no obligation to purchase photos, and we are sorry if you felt uncomfortable during this interaction. It was a great experience in the forest, both for me who has ridden for many years, and my husband who is a beginner. The guide was professional and the personal on the farm was very accommodating. Nevertheless it was a shame we couldn’t ride to the beach, because they told us that the see turtles was laying eggs that day… that’s why they only get 4 stars.

Reitausflug zum Strand

Ein toller Ausflug! Wir konnten uns auf der Ranch an das Pferd gewöhnen und ein paar Runden üben. Danach ging es durch den Pinienwald zum Strand mit Fotoshooting. Ich wäre gerne noch länger am Strand geblieben.
