Overview

If you’ve always wanted to try scuba diving but are unsure about committing to a full certification course, Discover Scuba Diving is the perfect activity to get you started. This programme lasts a day and includes two dives in which you will learn basic dive skills and experience what it's like to breathe underwater. It's a safe and enjoyable activity, and no prior experience is required. The activity will be led by a trained and licensed diving instructor.

The trip was on time and logistics were well organized. The boat was catered for a small group, with one instructor per 4 adults maximum. Basir was the instructor for our scuba diving experience (2 people). His chill attitude and professionalism made us feel at ease during the whole dive. Despite low visibility Basir managed to find a turtle in our area. Overall, it was a great experience near Kota Kinabalu.

For the first time, I got to scuba through this program. It was a very nerve-wracking moment, but thanks to my friendly guide, we could see sea turtles that we had never seen before. Through this program, I thought it would be a good idea to try scuba diving for 3 days the next time I visit Semporna. Looking forward to my next visit, I hope that the guides who are always friendly will be in good health.
