I am travelling alone and booked a tour with another company but they cancelled on me because there were not enough participants.
Then I booked the tour with Insider Ltd. At the meeting point it turned out I was the only participant for this tour. So happy Insider Ltd. didn't cancel on me too. Pretty sure the tour company barely made any money off the tour with only one participant.
The tour itself was great.
It's a long drive but the bosnian landscape is beautiful, so definitely worth it. Really enjoyed the conversations I had with tour guide Safet. He had a lot of knowledge about the places we visited. He shared a lot of interesting information about the bosnian history and culture and his personal life and memories as well.
The medieval town Travnik and its castle, the city Jajce and its waterfall, the Pliva Lakes with the watermills, all places were absolutely beautiful.
Because I was the only participant of the tour Safet told me I could look around as long as I wanted. No time schedule, the only thing that was important was that I had a good time.
He asked me if I wanted to see more of Bosnia and even arranged some extra stops for me with more interesting things to see. So we returned back to Sarajevo hours later then planned, no extra charge.
I really had a great time and highly recommend booking a tour with Insider Ltd.
