Very good and comprehensive tour covering both the city and the mountains and beaches of West Salalah, including some shopping and an hour of swimming in a beautiful beach.Enjoyed very much the milk tea and Arabian crepe which Mohammed treated us to.
One suggestion would be to include some time for lunch. It was 4 pm by the time we got dropped off and we were all very hungry. Otherwise, it would be advisable to bring a sandwich along.
Overall, an excellent tour which gives you a a good idea of what Salalah has to offer in one day.

The driver was good, visited all the mentioned spots in the plan. But i had a hard time sitting at the back of the jeep, my legs still hurt till now and could not see properly the scenery.

This Trip was amazing, to see this beautyful seesides and mountains with watching flamingos and camels and the guide gave very interesting information to us about his country and was a very save and kindly guide. Beautyful experience !

Es wurden eigentlich nur 2 Strände angefahren, aber nur im Fazaya-Beach ein Badehalt gemacht. Den Coconut-Beach hat man nicht besichtigt oder erwähnt, den Mughsail-Beach für einen Fotostopp, da Touristen dort anscheinend nicht schwimmen dürfen - ich ging am nächsten Tag alleine dorthin zum Schwimmen mit Schildkröten, wunderbar! Den Hidden-Beach für einen Fotostopp und dann den Fazaya-Beach, welcher toll liegt und schön zum entspannen ist. Der Weg vom Plateau zum Strand herunter ist extrem steil und nichts wenn man Höhenangst hat - gottlob hatte das 4x4-Auto gute Bremsen. Die Marneef-Cave ist keine Höhle zum Reingehen, sondern einfach ein grosser Felsen neben den Blow-Holes! Hier wäre eine Erklärung durch den Guide sinnvoll gewesen, aber leider wurde auch hier kein Kommentar abgegeben. Die Khadr Afrar Cave ist ebenfalls keine Höhle sondern eine Ausbuchtung im Felsen (man sollte hier also nicht eine falsche Vorstellung haben).
Unseren Fahrer/Guide Mohammed Ali fand ich leider nicht gut. Er erzählte eigentlich kaum etwas von sich aus und wenn dann nur knappest.

Wir hatten einen holprigen Start aufgrund eines „Systemfehlers“ des Veranstalters, was dazu führte, dass wir erst um 10:30 Uhr statt 9 Uhr starteten. Allerdings machte unser Guide Abo Salim das mehr als wett: Wir hatten eine tolle Tour durchs Gebirge & einsame Strände mit unglaublichen Aussichtspunkten und zwei extra Halte bei Kamelen und Obstständen. Abo Salim hat auf Englisch alles verständlich erklärt und konnte alle Fragen beantworten. On top bekamen wir auf Kosten der Organisation ein kostenfreies super leckeres Mittagessen, was Abo Salim organisiert hat - wunderbarer Meerblick inklusive.

Wir wurden überpünktlich von Salin außerhalb des Hafengeländes abgeholt. Er hatte vorab über WhatsApp uns über den Treffpunkt informiert mit zusätzlichen Bildmaterial. Auf dem Weg nach Fazayah gab er auf Englisch Information über u.a. Salalah, Kamele und über das schöne Gebirge. Anschließend ging es zum größten Weihrauchbaum, auch dort erfolgten viele Informationen. Es folgten mehrere Fotostops bis ein weiteren Höhepunkt die Blowholes angefahren worden sind. Nach unserem Wunsch endete der schöne Ausflug in Salalah am Old Souk.
