Paint & Wine is a painting party that requires no prior painting experience. We bet you haven't painted since you have been in a elementary school. Don't worry, non of the participants has. By the end of the session, our hosts will unleash Picasso within you. Don't forget you are free to sip as much wine as you want for the whole night, until you make a masterpiece of your own. This makes it much easier. This is not going to be an art school or anything like that. It is all about fun, meeting new people and creating some great experiences together. The best part is that you take it with you as a great souvenir to your unique experience and fun times in Rijeka. We provide all supplies and materials, and of course fine local wine. This tour takes you into the turbulent past of Rijeka, and not just anywhere but exactly to the locations where that past took place. The focal point of the tour is a series of under- and above-ground fortresses that were built in the 30s of the 20th century as the defense of the then borders. With their construction and location, the fortresses are a masterpiece of military engineering of their era. The tour ends in the entrance hall of the unfinished underground fortress San Giovanni with socializing, a glass of wine and screening of a short film about the restoration of Rijeka after the Second World War.
