Lovely way to look at Recife in Olinda with longtime Jewish residents who know the history well. Very moving to explore Jewish neighborhoods and imagine their energy before everyone moved. Jager was the historian who spoke only Portuguese but his sister Roseane translated which worked out alright. They were amenable when we wanted to stop and look at other sights along the way. Really a pleasure to spend the day with them.

Victor is very, very knowledgeable, considerate and personable. He went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and were exposed to everything we wanted to see plus more.
