The port was raining and windy and the tenders could not got there. Don’t use this tour company, they would not give us a fulll refund. When you book through Viator, it’s an understanding that when things happen that you have to control over, a refund is issued. NOT THIS COMPANY

Unfortunately your cruise cancel the port the same day 08.00 am. We already have tour guide and driver, We had to do the tour with 2 passengers from the other cruise that could dock at pier that day.
Daniel made our visit delightful and memorable. He went out of his way to accommodate our requirements.
His commentary informative and helpful. I am sure that being on a smaller party tour enhanced our experience.

The tour was kind of ok and we saw what was pointed out. I guess the city doesn’t have too much to offer…or the tour could be better. Gave us an overview of the area. Compared to other reviews … we have been lucky…our tour guide was a better one.
Next time I would book something different.

We were disappointed in this tour today. It felt like our tour guide was not really a trained professional tour guide. His English was limited and the knowledge of what he was telling us was done in such a way. It was very hard to track what he was saying. We also didn’t get to do some of the things that were on the agenda, like the bird area and the monument to the cattle was not included, but yet he took us to the cemetery, which was a nice addition but failed to tell us it was going to cost an additional $10. He kept asking us what we wanted to do instead of telling us what we were going to do on the tour. All in all, I would say it was not worth the money we pay.

Good guide, who spoke good English and explained things quite well. First stop was a viewpoint then on to a museum with replica ships which was an extra $10 per person, that we had been told about. Next came a visit to a cemetery which was vast and quite interesting but cost another $5 per person, that we didn’t know about. Another viewpoint over the city then a quick walk round the city square. Not sure there was much more to see in the city but it seemed to be a bit underwhelming.

We sent message before the tour explaining about entrance ticket cost in Nao Victoria. Cemetery is not included in the tour, but tour guide felt that you will enjoy this extra stop.

The whole process from pick-up to end of tour at cruise terminal was a smooth process and was communicated clearly. Nicolai is a great tour guide with so much knowledge. The Noa Victoria museum (3 replicas) was a highlight. Include the cost of the museum in the tour price.

The only site that might be of interest for people is to see the replica ship of Charles Darwin, but there was an additional $7 charge to enter the "museum" which was outdoors and it was very cold and extremely windy. Other than that, there were a few statues to see and another "highlight" was to see some Chilan flamingos in a pond.

I'm very sorry to report that Regular City Cruise tour of Punta Arenas proved to be rather disappointing. We experienced poor weather, which didn’t help, but it turned out to be a shared tour in English & Spanish, but with the guide only having limited English. Furthermore, she provided very little in way of a commentary or information on places we visited, and those places really had nothing to recommedn them. At one point, at the Martime Museum, our transport was sent off for another job, leaving us stranded and standing in the rain until it returned. The so-called ‘Wildlife Reserve’ was little more than a concrete water catchment area with a few sad bedraggled ducks and no evidence that it was visited by or home to the promised flamingoes. Overall, it was not a great experience, proved to be very poor VFM, and was not enjoyed by anyone in the group I formed part of.

Guide spoke excellent English. Tour covered a lot of Punta Arenas. Visit to outdoor museum with life size replicas of Magellan's ship Victoria, Darwin's Beagle, and a couple more. Saw several monuments in town and on the beach and finished with a visit to the plaza de armas. Brief (15") visit to candy store (where I'm sure guide got a cut) was vastly better than most such stops on other tours. The shop was small, charming, and worth the 15".

Ship disembarkation began at 7am, but we were supposed to meet the tour operator at an office several blocks away at 7:30am. I use a walking stick and there was no one waiting for us at the port. By the time we arrived at the tour operator's office, everyone had left. We ended up with no tour.

Hi Maria. Tour guide was waiting for you in disembarking room from 09.30 am to 10.30am
Tour should start at 10.00 am and we had 12 passengers inside the van waiting from 09.30 am. If the tender system was delayed and you couldn't arrive on time for the tour you need to speak with cruise administration because you loose the tour because of them no because of us. We wait more than enough for all of our passengers but we also need to respect the other ones who arrive on time.

Communication was good, van and your guide were good. The tour was not as advertised.
More than 12 people which was a money grab because the 4 seats in the back of the van are not useable - smaller in width than other seats meaning you are sitting on seatbelt hardware. We completely skipped the chocolate stop and an approx 3 hour tour was 2 exactly. It’s a cheap(er) than others but you can do some research walk around, taxi to a few places for less. Cannot recommend.

We book this tour as it spent more time at the outdoor maritime museum. The whole tour gave us a flavour of Punta Arenas. Our guide had proposed a visit to the cemetery and so wish we had taken up her offer! But that’s our fault!
Really enjoyed learning about the importance of Punta Arenas in the exploration of Antarctica and the museum, with it’s full size replicas of Magellans ship, the Beagle and Shackleton lifeboat (among others) was fascinating and added a lot to our cruise experience as well

This tour got off to a bad start when there was no one waiting for us when we got off the ship, and messages and phone calls to to operator went unanswered. Finally, some 15-20 minutes after the appointed time, the guide showed up, and suggested that we should have been waiting in the parking lot, although nothing had been given beforehand, and that they were late because of other hotel pickups. Surely this all could have been communicated beforehand so we weren't waiting in the port waiting room thinking we'd been stiffed. The guide was interesting, had lots of information to convey, and had excellent English - he is the only reason I gave this tour 3 stars instead of one. The tour stops were reasonable. However, the only restroom was available at the first stop, and then none for the rest of the tour, when we were left at the town square to walk back to the port - another problem in the organization of the tour.
