Itinerary

After being collected from your hotel in Puerto Iguazú, you'll be shuttled a brief distance via coach to Iguazú National Park. Accompanied by a knowledgable guide, visit the Argentine side of Iguazu Falls. Here, a network of over 250 individual waterfalls carry the Iguazú River over the falls at the astonishing rate of 400,000 gallons (1.5 million liters) per second.

Your guide will take you through all three of the national park's three tiers, each of which provides a significantly different view of the spectacular falls. On the lower trail, descend into a misty, echoing cavern, thundering with the sound of rushing water. The significant climb to the top of the upper trail will deposit you on a footbridge spanning the falls that gives unparalleled panoramic views. Your expert guide will provide you with naturalist information and guidance, but you are free to explore at your own pace.

Board a boat for the authentic Iguazu experience: being drenched by its mighty waters. You'll be safely ferried through the falls themselves, so be sure to bring your foul weather gear. After drying off, you'll be dropped back at your hotel.

Climb into an off-road vehicle for a 5-mile (8-kilometer) journey through the verdant jungle, viewing abundant native flora such as palm, palo santo, and bromeliads along your path. Keep an eye out for butterflies flitting among the orchids as your guide teaches you about the tropical forest and its inhabitants.

The truck will deliver you to Macuco Port and you'll transfer to motorboat for a 4-mile (6-kilometer) cruise down the Iguazu River. During the final mile, shoot the rapids of the Iguazu River Canyon, passing close to waterfalls like the Three Musketeers and San Martin Falls. Disembark for a short break on San Martin Island before heading back to the port and being returned to your hotel.

Breathtaking place - but look for better touring options

Marek_M, Jan 2026
The falls are breathtaking and worth visiting and taking the time to see/explore every corner. That part is highly recommended. The boat ride took exactly 25 minutes and we have a feeling that it was shorter than expected. Yet, it was fun and reached most of the expected area, while other boats went further towards the falls. The tour guide was slow, and we (as well as most of the others on that tour) found ourselves most of the time ahead of him, while he barely caught up. Overall - Do NOT give up on the falls, but find a better as to visit them. Our friends did the exact same activities on their own (paid/booked on the spot), without booking such complete tour.

if 0 was an option, I would choose that. I bought it two days before going there and then the day of no one came to pick me up. no one answered the phone. Absolutely the worst will never use this app again. thankfully, my hotel had a travel agent.

Paid $100 for the trip and they did not pick me up. Went on my own for $30. Refund pending.

Winnie_T, Jan 2024
They did not pick up at the pick up location at 7am in the morning. Was not able to contact them. Viator says they are trying to mediate and get a refund, but it's been two weeks and no further communication from Viator or this Grey Line operator.

Don't bother

Bryan_H, Oct 2023
The tour was not really a tour. More like a ride to the park. Our tour guide could not be bothered to tell us anything other than to point us to the upper and lower trail. Honestly don't bother. Just hire a taxi to take you there and pick you up. Make sure you go when they open to be ahead of the crowds. If you want to do the boat ride, which I would strongly recommend, it was 33000 peso's (or around $35) per person and you can sign up inside the entrance. The so called 4x4 ride is just an open air flatbed with chairs that takes you to the boat launch and is part of your boat ticket.

Best water fall boat ride ever…

Rachel_B, Sep 2023
Best part of the park was the boat ride thru the falls…. It was soooo much fun and exhilarating. It’s a must . The park alone is nice but the boat ride is the cherry on the cake…

The perfect way to experience Iguazu!

Shannon_H, Aug 2023
The tour and tour guides were great! We got to walk the trails and see the falls from the various points at first and the views were spectacular. After a quick break for lunch we headed to ride in the 4x4s down to the boat dock. The boat ride was absolutely amazing, definitely the highlight of the tour. I highly recommend adding it on if you're making the trip to Iguzazu!!

Wonderful tour guide. The tour was timely. Beautiful landscape. Boat ride amazing! Wonder falls are breath taking. Highly recommend

A really good experience

SN_A, Apr 2023
The trip was mainly for Spanish speaking people. Although I don’t speak Spanish, tour guides Miriam and Daniella went out of their way to make sure that we weren’t “ignored” and that we understood the itinerary for the day. In regard to the activity, the boat tour was brilliant, I got absolutely mauled with water lol, while the Jungle Safari was also good. The walk to visit the numerous falls on the Argentine side is a long one but we went at a reasonable pace. The view from Devil’s throat is quite breathtaking. A truly memorable day from start to finish.

Best trip ever

Anjana_S, Apr 2023
They took us right into the waterfall. It was truly amazing! And the guides were fantastic.. and the waterfalls are really really worth seeing.

Fenomenal, expetacular, Pure life!!

Keith_B, Mar 2023
It is worth it, save time, to be informed by a guide who tells you the characteristics of the park, it is priceless. Each waterfall has its story, they are beautiful!!! The adventure attraction is fun, phenomenal!! We stayed in the Brasil side and had no problem. But they must leave an hour before from the hotel in Brazil, the meeting point is on the Argentina side. They have to go through both passport Control (Brazil and Argentina) carrying a Passport is a must!! Take a taxi! I recommend it to everyone no matter how old they are.

They won’t turn up - more fun organising it yourself.

Harry_J, Mar 2023
I should have read other reviews. This operator cancelled the tour last minute, after I had flown to Iguazu and checked into my accommodation. They have a history of this, so I ended up visiting the park by myself. Everything they offer is available to everyone (Boat ride, 4x4 truck, train ride, park entry) and at half the price. You will see staff as soon as you walk into the park, who will book everything for you. If I hadn’t messaged them to confirm, they would have left me waiting at 7am without a pickup. My suggestion is visit the park when it opens and sign-up to the “gran aventura” when you walk into the park. If you go at 8am (when they open) you will see more animals. Have fun :)

Iguazu Falls on the Argentinian side with boat ride

ldortegafamily, Jan 2023
What an exciting experience with Toto. He stayed with our 27 people group and treated each and everyone of us special. He made sure the group stayed together and carried a large red umbrella so we always knew he was near. He had a schedule and was very timely. He wanted to make sure we had the best and safest experience. Thank you Toto for a great time in Iguazu National Park.

Great tour! Highly recommend

Lauren_N, Jan 2023
We had a great experience of Iguazu Falls on this tour. Our guide was helpful and spoke English well, he also gave us recommendations for restaurants in-town. While you could visit the Argentine side without a guide, having one made the day stress-free and easy to get around. Communication the day before was great and everything ran on-time. We started around 7:30am and were back at our hotel around 4pm.

Never showed up, never responded to messages

Chetan_M, Jan 2023
They never showed up to pick us up and then have been completely unresponsive on messaging via Viator. Their phone number doesn't work and they don't have an e-mail.

Iguazu falls

Gina_B, Dec 2022
The boat ride was fun! The walk around the falls was gorgeous! I especially loved seeing all the monkeys and butterflies In the jungle. Enrique was a good guide, he even shared his phone with us so we could watch the soccer match!

Wonderful experience at Iguazu

Driver didn't show and cheaper elsewhere

Mehran_Q, Dec 2022
DO NOT USE THIS TOUR - the drive did not show up at my hostel after payment and confirmation. Its been 2 days and I still haven't heard anything from the company and am waiting for a refund. You can do everything offered in this tour for far cheaper at the park, book travel with Río Uruguay on the day and book the Grand Adventure at the park to save £40 and avoid giving money to these scammers.

Terrible

Carmen_R, Nov 2022
I received a notification 30 minutes before leaving that the driver was not going to be able to pick me up. Still waiting for the refund. They didn't give me any other options. I was traveling alone. They should verify if at least they could take 1 more person in the tour before taking my money.

Magnificent

Neil_M, Nov 2022
This was definitely one of the best tours ever, and I travel around the world all the time. Iguaçu Falls is spectacular, overwhelming and beautiful. Well organised tour. Be sure to go on the boat, that tops everything else.

Was awesome experience, in particular the adventure experience (boat ride). Overall experience was excellent!

Response from Host, May 2022

We are glad you have enjoyed the excursion, Alberto! Thank you for your review.

Driver did not pick us up

Susanna_S, May 2022
Driver did not show up to pick us and another couple up at the meeting point- nothing more to say! Still no money refunded- don‘t book it. You can easily go on your own to the park and book the activity directly there.

Amazingly fun! Will do again!

David_K, May 2022
Patricia was an amazing guide who clearly spoke multiple languages that was easy to understand. The trip was unbelievable! The falls are amazing, highly recommend the boat ride. They actually bring you right under the falls! Feels safe the whole time as well!

Response from Host, May 2022

David, hello! We are totally agree with you, this tour is amazing and 100% recommendable. Thanks for your positive review!
